I will assume they are a healthy food and not at all bad for me?

Eastenders is very exciting

I have found a digital photo frame lurking on the table, not sure whose it is. I am fairly certain it would be excellent for displaying photos of Ollie, Henry, and Max, so that we can all see how they celebrated Christmas.

Hello everyone, I'm back!

Whaddya mean, was I away?

Had a super time. Everything went according to plan, everyone got there, and a jolly time was had by all. Oli and Max were both adorable, and very well behaved (probably due to getting unlimited attention from all of us adults).

Oli hugged his new Brio Mallard loco (from guess who?) on Boxing Day night, and said "This is my favourite engine". I nearly cried! I'd told him it was a model of a very fast engine, and so he made sure to couple it up with two tenders and two coal wagons, because it would need lots of coal. Mum was also well chuffed, because he kept wanting to play with us with the Ludo game she got him - albeit mostly according to his own enimatic rules, and with some interesting interpretations of the number of dots showing on the dice. Mind you, we played it on Christmas night after he'd gone to bed, and with four adults and one whole bottle of port, the interpretation of the rules becomes rather fluid.

I'll get a few pics up shortly.

First cup of tea went down rather fast, need another now. Nice to be home again.

Did everyone have a good time? I've reviewed the Tea? thread, and it seems to be mostly eating and drinking.:biggrin:

Oh, and NT, the answer to one of your questions seems to be yes:

Sounds like you had a great time.

There has been a slight bit of over-eating going on on here lately, I blame Speicher as always

Just been for our belated pressies and have got some nice walking boots, a new battery charger that means I can charge all the batteries I need for the commute in 1 day rather than a whole weekend, Mrs Potsy has a luxurious new recliner chair to chill out in. Also got a new lamp for the living room and an instant boil kettle thingy.

Right, cuppa, sandwich and I'll make a start on putting things together

Hi Potsy!

As requested, photos:

Oli with Mallard, on a track that is less than optimal for speed records. It was all we could fit in with all the presents all over the floor:

And here he is saying thankyou for the bridge Auntie Sue also got him:

Max enjoying the Music set he got from his Mum:

Oli, Gath'ring Winter Fu-u-u-el:

Max, doing the traditional thing of playing with the cardboard box instead (the crane it contained was for Oli):

Brotherly Love. Altogether now, Awwwww!:

Hi Arch,
Welcome back.

The tea thread isn't the same without you.
Good photos, more Brio track needed for speed records though.

I must look for that lactose free cream, maybe I will be able to enjoy cream cakes again.:hungry:

Hi Arch. Loverly Piccies. Must have been a super time you all had. I'm jealous - can I have a "Mallard" too?

Mrs 26x25 just brought in a new set of scales. Don't ask, lets just say I need some miles (well maybe more than just some) to burn it all off :bicycle:

Potsy would you like to post a photo of your walking boots. After our long discussion into the early hours about leather and lacing, it would be the least you could do. ;)

I have been out and looked at Dvd recorders, with very helpful lady. Also find some old-fashioned good wellington boots.

How about this?

Ideally you'd need a scale model of the long straight on the East Coast line near Peterborough where the record was set. But I think that would need all of Grandma's hall and kitchen, and more straight bits than he owns...

Ah, NT, whoops. I've just looked at that cream again to see who they supply to, and realised it's Australian....

Surely there's an equivalent over here though.

Got these ones in the end, they are very comfortable and I think a sensible sort of price for my needs.
New boots
They have a Vibram sole and eVent lining so should be perfect.

Also got these as well-
New trainers

All the new goodies are up and running, lamp works, and the kettle is fab, can make tea in half the time now
