Yeah, I probably am. I don't like moths, especially in the bed room. If there are any I will have to ask you to evict them before I can settle.

I used to be like that with spiders. I've got better though. But spiders are usually easier to catch with a glass ad postcard than moths, which can move in more dimensions.

I'm fine with spiders. I do evict them but only to somewhere where they would have more luck catching flies, and moths.

I will admit to being hopeless with any kind of insects, though especially spiders, we have a car parking area at the back of our block that has a gate that is covered in them in summer, I cringe every time I have to open it to get the car out, though I suppose it may encourage me to cycle in more

If I see any spiders in the house then I set Puma on them, she likes to eat them

Must be time for tea by now!

Well, I did some bike fettling, and I've just cleared out my kitchen cupboard under the sink.

Not a great deal to show for a whole day really...

Tea anyone?

Tea please, thankyou.
Been bike fettling myself today, well getting it cleaned and ready for next weeks commuting duties anyway, nearly done, just need to oil the chain and put the wheels back on.
Have stopped to have an Eastenders catch-up after not seeing it for 2 weeks, (sad I know)

Family sized pie with mashed potatos for tea later. No weight loss this week but am holding steady, can't understand it

I'm planning something pasta-ish with smoked sausage and pesto...

Ah, I must remember to oil my hack's chain tomorrow. Didn't do it today because I forgot to take the lube downstairs.

I was watching the BBC world News at lunchtime. It is followed by a short programme called Click. It included details of a fridge. Apparently you can use your phone to contact it, and ask it if there is a particular item in there, so that you can get said item, or not, as the case may be, on your way home.

The presenter did add, without a hint of irony, that of-course there is an easier way and he demonstrated the easier way so well, I thought, when he opened the door. I was thinking that certain people might then not end up with too many cakes in the fridge. ;)

The same company make an oven that will text you when you dinner is ready, and then you can tell it to turn the temperature down, if you are not ready to eat the meal yet.

It did not say anything about a programme to detect when your cat wants to go out, so that the door can be unlocked. You could watch the prog on BBC iplayer, IIRC.

They were also using new words like functionality, and squirl or summat.

Think it's called finding a solution when there was no problem

No cakes in my fridge (any more) got a few biscuits and Quality Street left and that is all, it's then healthy food all the way

Arch, did you like the Shaun the Sheep tea cosy? (one or two pages back)

Oh yes, I did, very good. I keep meaning to knit a tea cosy for the pot at work, with the St Nicks logo in it.

I'm amazed by this oven that texts me to tell me dinner is ready. If I've been at work all day, who put dinner in there in the first place?

As for texting the fridge to ask if you've got any milk, what if you forget to text it to ask (which is likely if you can;t remember from that morning)? Back to square one.
