Now you know it's there, walk backwards up the path, tape in hand, and block the camera*. Then they'll not see who did it.

You must have been bored though, to do someone else's gardening.

You can opt out of their(EE) marketing calls.
EE, long story but I cancelled a phone BUT
the replacement was to be on EE as well but not mine..
wot a palaver to PAC the number over...

anyhow, you never noticed the ham radio call, I accidently typed in my post, dual keyboards are murder at time
now edited^_^

It's my youngest's garden, got in before Level 4 is in place...

It's just a simple text, nothing more. And if you believe that...

I got a government office in Germany and an individual in Liberia with the call code/sign. You want it removing?

Level 4, we've only three.

Middle of the morning to you:hello:
Wet and windy,
No, Mo , no sorbital involved, it's outside^_^
Not as familiar with them as you are.
First one or two letters denote country, the number is just an issue, some countries do this by region, the UK it is class of licence,
G or M is England, GM or MM is Scotland, GW or MW is Wales, GI or MI is Norn Iron.. after the number is generally issue so each call is unique so if I see say R7TRE (fake) would tell me he is a Russki and is most likely to be in the Black Sea area, 99.99% have their info online...
normally name, address, maidenhead locator (I stay in IO86ba)...
I'm a GM7;)
I can be found easily

Owdo
Damp down these parts.

G for Great Britain then?
Why "V" for Canada(starts with a "C") then. Or why not "S" for Scotland?

As for you being a G-man, I'm not falling for that. Triple S possibly...

Morning??

I haven't a clue how they worked it all out..
The ITU determine it all..
G GX England
GB United Kingdom G GD GI GJ GM GU GW
GD GT Isle of Man
GI GN Northern Ireland
GJ GH Jersey
GM GS Scotland
GU GP Guernsey and Dependencies
GW GC Wales

and

M MX England G
MD MT Isle of Man GD
MI MN Northern Ireland GI
MJ MH Jersey GJ
MM MS Scotland GM
MU MP Guernsey and Dependencies GU
MW MC Wales GW

They ran out of G and then use M now,
My allocated call is G7???? but as I am in Scotland, I have to use GM7??? but if I operate (as I have) in England I use G7 etc..
the G is used for all calls allocated (or was in the 80s) and I just add the M to determine I was in Scotland, I adjust as I move around the UK, I've used G, GM, GW and GI...
to complicate things I can use my licence abroad but must suffix that countries allocated base call so if I was in Turkey I'd be TA/GM7??? . so I've never operated abroad as too many questions off customs and feds....
I took a vhf handheld radio to Portugal (CT7 part) and spent too much time explaining in Faro I never bothered...

and it is still miserable and EE is trying to confuse me:laugh:

Go by ferry, fewer questions asked and unless you look shifty, they'll not ask to see inside your bag(s).

EE do a good job of confusing themselves. I'd an Orange number going spare and gave it to someone who wanted to upgrade, Orange to EE. Still get calls asking me about what I'm doing with the number.

Confuse them, don't let them beat you!

Can't help on the miserable part, sorry.

Stayed dry until 30mins ago - now it's damp and grey - with fading light thrown in for good measure.

It's days like these that increase the misery of lockdown measures as this time last year Tuesday night would have been the night for a couple of beers and a bit of karaoke with friends in the bar. Oh well, maybe next year.
