Years of staying clear for work next day and the fact I used a motorbike (latterly a sccoter) for getting me about, work etc.
I did enjoy the odd glass of Guinness, cider, beer, lager..
It depended what was on offer:laugh:

I have no commitments now so I enjoy myself..
Got some San Miguel today but must chill it to Spanish cold first:laugh:
and a bottle of Oirish rin tin tin:angel:

All the very best..
we moved in here on the 18th or was it 19th Dec last year and still had 13 around the Xmas table, not this year sadly:cry:
we were out for some shopping and did a wander on the way back whilst passing a couple of houses we'd looked at, must have a nosey on RightMove to see what they'd gone for:laugh:
Think you may have had enough, already. Was it a "chicken chaser"?

And if they went for less than you were offering, what'll you do.

Just the driver’s pride I think!

Another quake at Blackford. Woman I know in Auchterarder said she felt it shake the house.
That's something the driver can sort out, might take a bit of living down...

Saw that,
"Reports described "whole house shook", "windows and doors rattled", "sounded like an explosion", "felt like house had been hit by a vehicle" and "it was like a heavy truck passing the window"."

I actually gave the scooter away,
some bloke came up from Lancashire to collect it..
there had been not that many imported, it was a Honda 4 stroke so no big market for parts..
replacement parts had to come from Japan so expensive, pity..

Owdo

Sounds about right, they'd have anything being given away would a Lancastrian.

What made you get a "thumper" though.

Done your rightmove research?

Someone didn't like their porridge more like at that time of day.

Morning??

Bought a 650 but found it had an intermittent electrical problem, it went like something off a shovel:ohmy:
and had it in getting looked at and got a loan of the pizza box:laugh:
I loved the wee gold machine..
fault couldn't be found so....
I got a few years out of it...
Exhaust had been welded so much as £300 plus from Japan, pattern parts had all but ran out....
plus a slight crack on the engine case...
retired it..
tried the spares and repair route..
should have stripped it down but the garage we had could barely take our car..
said teary goodbyes.
no more motorised transport since...yet:ohmy::ohmy:
I keep threatening..

Hopefully not for a while yet..
I had kept promising myself,
I'd buy another motorbike and tour Scotland extensively..
who knows but I doubt it, if I get away, she who must be obeyed has to go too and there is the Mrs:laugh:

Big error, think I'll avoid heading back the canal bank, he thought,
I just nip over to skip past Westerwood,
oh, what a constant uphill plod, I kept seeing false summits:laugh:
Roads very busy for a pandemic...

Motorbike and sidecar then. Must be enough room, and you can take it easy in the sidecar.

Ah, the old just a few more yards only to find out it's not. Why doesn't it work going downhill.
