And you were unable to cross the hall without being seen?
Stealing someone else's thunder never goes down well, especially if you're the new kid there.

Chance of flooding so you went early?
Not that wet here,
more on and off light rain..
Aye, esp the bloke above me in the pecking order, the manager started calling him Practika man:laugh:
Mind you most east German cameras used fantastic quality lenses, Carl Zeiss.
I had a top model Zenit, amazing bulky as h but took amazing quality photos but today's digital blows them away.
Must charge mine up..

Wasn't that wet here until midday, light rain since the big one cleared off.
And their name for you, ever find out?
If you know what you're actually on about when selling something, it helps more than a brochure.
Still on film myself. One digital compact camera, others are on phones.
Digital makes people lazy. They can just delete all their bad shots.

Film meant you had to structure your shots and not waste film (processing costs etc) in those early days I'd develop my own negatives. I never got to the developing photo stage (I'd left)..
Phone cameras are excellent but if they crack the optical zoom......

I took photos of the building here from a couple of hundred yards away with 20x and a telescopic lens and the detail was amazing.
Oldest Mhor can take who knows how many snaps, we done my 60th (planning my 70th b/day one)birthday hill and I let him take snaps, almost 200 to work through..
even freaky, three of us have bought the same camera..
I knew oldest Mhor had one but middle bought and I said 'your bro and me have the same'

New back wheel has arrived, new cassette fitted and will do the rest tomorrow...
hopefully a long use..

Baseball, a no hitter as well, watched...
Early evening one today^_^

Not forgetting the cost of the film in the first place. Makes you think about what you're doing from the start. Digital, pop the battery(ies) in and fire away. You can't even compare cine film and video cameras the same way.

Always wanted to have a shot at doing my own developing and printing. No-where suitable to set it up. Did a life-size black and white picture once, care of the local college.

Shot two wedding's, no funeral! Got paid for one.

Hadn't you replaced the back wheel just before you moved there? What are you doing to that poor bike.

I hold a GCSE in Photography for reasons which made sense at the time: we used exclusively Black and white film and had a mahoosive permanent darkroom with a sort of U-bend entrance so it was permanently dark.

Has fewer problems in the darkroom(college) than most of the others using it. Don't know why. You still use a camera.

There was the time someone took a picture, using a flash, trying to copy someone else's work.

The picture they were trying to copy had been taken with the use of a tripod and slow shutter speed.

Can't remember last back wheel fit,
I did get work done at an LBS last March but that wasn't back wheel related, I'll have the receipt
Will have a look..
They are a reasonably cheap wheel plus carting all my bulk around cannot help.
This is the fifth in 31,000 miles (including the wimpy wheel that came with the bike).
Feeling chuffed, got Virtual Radar Server working on a rasp pi (thanks to someone's script)
I used to run the computer version 24/7 but not now so the RP4 will do it now

hopefully:laugh:
I did some at my sis in laws wedding (they had a pro doing the real job) and the photos came out with a green sheen, someone had bought Kodak instead of the Fuji I normally used.. jeez, I got pelters, the negs and photos were looked at by a photo lab pro and reckoned it was poor developing at one of those cheap and cheerful companies you sent away to.

Black and white had some great options, I always used Ilford ??? for B&W work..

Still think you're mistreating that poor bike. Have you considered fatter tyres to soak up some of the surface imperfections.

This correct, your raspberry pi(food?) is now keeping track, and reporting the positions of various aircraft!!
And people bother about gadgets doing what your food is doing.

I used Boots for a few years, until they sent the wrong film and pictures back. Under the counter, and a specialist company normally required for what I got back, in full and glorious colour. Now it's a camera shop that I use.

You clean her before you put her away and get yourself cleaned, every time.

Just think what chips can do if your pi can track aircraft! Especially those there micro chips reheated in the microwave.

Up a river?

How "odd" a clean?

I've a couple of bars to hand missen. Where did the 400g bars disappear to. Okay they'll have reduced the size, but to take them off the shelves is just not fair!!

Day 431
Summer has passed, like the lone horseman, neither staying very long. As we approach the longest day of the year, it seems that it will be the only thing remembered about it.

Owdo the noo

Them small bars are getting smaller though.
Will you be testing your resistive capabilities later, or is it too late to start.

If you'd a third leg, you'd look sorta odd!
And have problems buying trousers.
He who lives by the sword...

It's only just begun...
