I got a hurley in the garage (somewhere)..
I remember bring back for oldest Mhor, a Cavan, Roscommon football top from my visits.

Battery flat..
Dozen slats to go..

oh, I was a good spin bowler at school and remember being taken to meet a Scottish cricket legend who stayed local,
I was mentioned to the local club but it was the wrong school....
lost my interest after the Botham, Willis years..
and though Sir Geoff was THE man...
I'd two, made by the same man who made them for the Clare 95 team. Signed by him and his son who was on the team. They disappeared a few years ago, where I don't know. Be worth a bit now.

He still has the top, I presume.

You'll have a manual screwdriver you can use whilst the battery charges!

Never trusted bowling, attempting to play cricket. It hurt the batsman.

I'd assumed he'd have grown a wee bit since you bought it for him.

Twelve screw's too many to put in by hand! I don't know, cheap drill or not.
You've buggered up yer bits.

Morning all:hello:
Queen stage in Il Giro today, guess who ain't moving....

It was a walk off walk win at the end of the 9th..
aye, confusing:laugh:
Owdo
They're dressed in drag. Won't that slow them down a bit.
I wonder who you mean.

One side had enough, and walked off taking their ball with them. Therefore giving the win away?

Morning??

4-4 going into the bottom of the 9th inning..
Yankees last to bat..
play starts, Yankees get three players on the bases..
the fourth base is home plate, batter gets a count of 3 balls and one strike, pitcher throws a fourth ball which automatically walks the batter to first base.. and it then moves each of the loaded bases on one more so the third walks to home plate and this scores a run..
win..

Apparently no one local sells the 'half's I needed to finish off part of fence, so had to saw down the middle of a 1.8m 100mm wide piece of wood TWICE..
still to screw them on but cream crackered..^_^

Lousy batter or tactics?

Hand or power saw?
If you cut twice did you end up with four equal pieces.

Grab yer drill, battery charged up, and get them in place. You can then put yer feet up, watch the cycling on the telly knowing you don't have to go back out.

We are eating porridge for lunch.

One has to make allowances when one is in a multi cultural family.
I could live on porridge..
maybe an odd bowl of Frosties instead in the morning but guess what for lunch?

Poor pitching....

Will finish it all after Beag goes home..
It has turned a bit wet wx wise but shouldn't take long..
I have a circular saw but for accuracy, hand saw..
it didn't really take that long but I admit my saw skills are lacking..

Sadly stage has been cut in Il Giro due to minging wx, safety first..
It's pelting as well

Fried Mars Bar!!

He's an overpaid pitcher then.

Circular saw would have been easier. I'll assume the battery was dead and in need of charging.

Young 'un heard any "new words" whilst you've been hard at work. Or was he safe onside where it's dry and warm, supervising from there.

Fair weather cyclists, I dunno. They're paid by the day, not the mile.

Rain stopped play here too, been teeming since I took a 10 o'clock(or later) break :cuppa:, old habits die hard.
I was a council employee (note the word employee not worker)^_^
If it dries between now and dusk...
