Don't do 'smart meter',
more likely I'd cause RFI..
Been another day,
key came off car key fob:ohmy:
key is okay, the fob had a wee metal cover over the key so that's the problem,
hopefully it is lying in the car and might be a solution rather than forking out a few quid...
I've a pal in the cat trade so maybe see if I can get a cheap, easy fix..
:cuppa:,first then drink:laugh:
Fair do's, thought all new builds had to have them for the last few years now. Did you send yer readings off?
You could try, might lower someone's bill.
Another one of "those days", eh!
Forking out for part of a key. Why'd the do away with the standard all metal keys for cars.
If yer mate, in the cat trade, is called upon can he provide the chipping service.
Apple juice again?

chevy spark key for 63 reg.jpeg

There is a pin inside the recess where the key end goes, the other side of the key has a small groove which fits on to the pin and the bit that fits to cover must be lying in the car,..
Aye, been one..
no apples here at all except stewed ones:laugh:

Thinking if I find it I can get some of that metal epoxy type stuff (dunno the correct name) and try that,
have options as pal got back to me, different if a new car but it's been and is a great wee thing,
just been watching a program about the Ford Mustang,
I'd even go for my licence if we had one...

Apples for Eve's Pudding, Crumbles etc etc....

Liquid metal
Unable to get you a replacement?
Be easy enough if it were an old fashioned key though. Start around the £15 mark. Electronic locks have a lot to answer for.
Don't be daft, with the eight miles to the gallon, and the price increases, you'd never be going anywhere in it.

Does Eve know you're stewing apples for her.

Owdo
It's dry with no wind, that's better than the last one.

It wasn't in the car? Make them that bit more fragile and they can charge more for replacements.
You'll just crumble when it comes to asking.
Hope you feel better later, around tasting time.

Never looked, mind was elsewhere.
Check later.
Grand couple of hours out.
first day in 12 out on Polly,
the canal bank was enough with a divert through Kilsyth, a sneering glance as I passed the start of the Tak climb, the low winter sun quite a problem on the road sections..
Enjoyed it:cuppa:

You've not lost that as well?
Whilst there's still some daylight. I'd start in the back seat checking under the drivers seat. Then the boot.
Muddy under wheels, Polly not as pretty as before you went.
This time next week, the end of the Take Climb...
Could be worse on the canal towpath. End up having a cold bath.
Good to hear.
Enjoy, put your feet up and relax.

YouTube is so handy..
we have a travel cot for when Beag stays over..
it's never been put down and stored away.
WE looked at it and wondered how this collapses and folds away.
YouTube!! 30 secs in and so simple to drop and fold away.
Now stored away..

I've been over the Tak from the north but I don't think I'll ever manage from the south..

Where were instruction manual, and do you reckon you can put it back up again, without checking YouTube first.

Defeatist talk is that. You'll manage somehow.
Never worry!

Who needs manuals when you have the toob:cuppa:
The N side is tough enough,
I failed dismally on a lesser hill a couple of months ago,
I will give it a go though...

Suppose the toob goes down when you need to reassemble?
That sort of incline.
That's more like it. Just imagine the view from the top, looking back over what you thought was impossible.

No cuppa!

Mrs M WILL remember:laugh:
Don't think they use it for races as there is a ford on the N side, scary well worn stones:ohmy:
Nice view from the car park at the summit:okay:

Good morrow
And if she asks you to put it up, what then? I see a lack of refreshments happening.
Who'll you be racing? You come down with enough speed you can just glide over the surface of the water. Or "bunny hop" the ford. No stones to worry about.
Next time take yer bike with you and have a picture taken of you "reaching the top".
If it's good enough for adverts...
