It was because you changed your address, no I didn't..
You did change your address, No I didn't..
okay, your new address, please
no it is not a new address, the account was a continuation of the previous contract at my present address,
no, you changed your address, no I didn't..
okay, now the old address, no, it is not the old address..

then I cannot register for an account,
you have an account, No, I haven't I never had any need for an account until this..
I tried registering again, again and again,
your security question is wrong, no, it isn't is the same one.
by this time even I was at breaking point..

Finally, someone had a clue and now I have an account..
I have to deal with them again in six months......

True, but too early and you throw your whole body clock out.

EE or the Clydesdale Bank.

I think they do this on purpose, just to destroy your will to go on. They then get the chance to sell you something you'll never need.

Now go and get yourself ready for the next time you need to deal with them.

Virgin Media / Mobile,
I have to say quick response from Mobile to answer..
Clydesdale is now Virgin Money.. kinda has lost its charm..
feels soulless now..
no banker jokes about smiling teeth:ohmy:

EE have been not bad,
I used to get some local most of the time before I moved, now mostly Geordie or NI..
for some reason they don't sound liker they are reading from a script..
I spoke with a Thomas, Andrew and a Susanne yesterday, aye right:laugh:
I'm easy going with folk, they are doing a job..
I'd learnt if you let someone have their rant then you can then talk to them except for the one who launched at me:cuppa:
Met her hubby in the pub a few night later, got a few free pints..

Their "customer service" is lousy. You can't go into the shop to sort anything out, that has to be done over the phone. Even if the problem arose in the shop.
Staff turnover may well be high, but they should be able to read, and understand, what is and isn't on the screen in front of them.
Aye, 41 days to go and we get an extra two seconds of "daytime".

I gave up with previous area local shop, best deals definitely using the phone or online chat...

Good thinking, at least I'd remember that:laugh:

I'd alot of trouble with British gas but the builder had made all sorts of errors,
but I got a 'hotline' to deal with someone seeing I was old etc etc
no problem to get everything sorted

then she left
I dread next May...
I usually let the Mrs deal with them..

The local EE shop has more staff going through it than customers. Unless your buying a new handset, they're not interested. Upgrade, do it over the telephone, unless it's worth something to them.

Simple password, but you've to think sideways if you want to know it. Or else know how I think.

You upset British Gas, they'll remember that. Old age or otherwise, it'll do you no good.

I'll upset them,
I'm going to take meter readings later:laugh:
Staff turnover is an issue everywhere.
The Boss just called our builder and the lass who was dealing with us is there no more.
obviously a 'f'this I'm off' I assume.
I just had a mail from her 24 hours ago..
treat your staff like 'it' and no wonder folk leave now there seems to be a glut of jobs.
I jokingly said I'd be available for a cleaning job to someone in retail the other night and was asked if I was serious,
I could do part time...

Owdo
Thought the "smart" meter did that for then, and they no longer needed to send anyone round?

It's gonna get worse before the end of the year as well. There's not many lasses in the building trade these days, one more gone by the sound of things.

Would the previous persons uniform fit you, and would you be working late evenings or nights.

Now gone wet again down here.

Don't do 'smart meter',
more likely I'd cause RFI..
Been another day,
key came off car key fob:ohmy:
key is okay, the fob had a wee metal cover over the key so that's the problem,
hopefully it is lying in the car and might be a solution rather than forking out a few quid...
I've a pal in the cat trade so maybe see if I can get a cheap, easy fix..
:cuppa:,first then drink:laugh:
