Flurries reported to the W of me but not lying..
We'd a brief one again but too wet to lie.
24.3 mm just now and not yet half a day...

I'll look at the car again over the weekend...
She's been her normal, her auntie is here so I get a break but I'm in charge all day tomorrow...
If I don't appear, she's being a handful...

That was my meaning I've waited longer on UK deliveries.

Almost time for lunch,
burnt rolls, square (lorne) sausage, fried onions, broon sauce......heaven on a roll
McFlurries by chance?
The sunshine has gone, in it's place we have rain.
How far away is that boat you were using earlier this week.

Give yer head time to work out what could be wrong before the "aha moment" as you try something else.
Nice and quiet? All day, on yer ownsome...
She's probably being careful with you in case you stop working on her car.

International, Ireland, could take a month. I've brought stuff over rather than posted them, it were quicker.

And yer cuppa of course.

No Scottish snow round your way...
You'll have to remember next week.

Can you tow it behind your bike. If it carries on like that you might need it.
Possibly in a hurry....

Numbers are on the up, pitch a few tents outside, for the newer members.
Who invigilated his exam.
You'll be attending, and voting I presume?

No panic...
She's only one small lass, you're a full grown adult. Show her who's in control.
Granny on retail therapy duties.

When is the men's race expected to catch and pass the women's?
Might as well, given you're worried about tomorrow. You might miss it.

The early morning sounds of emergency work being done on a gas main greeted me this morning.
The more they dig, the more they're finding stuff that's not marked on any map/plan. Maybe if they were to stop digging.

Contractors for Yorkshire Water, working on a water main, hit an unmarked gas main yesterday. Twice in nine years it's been hit now.

Yer house is yours once more...
Not exciting enough to have you standing, or don't you want to spill yer cuppa?
Yellow jersey still in the lead, in both.

We'd a light breeze last night, not much this side o'midnight..
Aye Kate is blowing over to be followed tomorrow by another.
Drier than yesterday at least.

No written exams, show all yer reasoning on the papers supplied!
You been tutoring either?
I'd be surprised if you said you knew. Exams are done in mysterious ways.
More money going out.

Had to be that name..
visons of a feisty redhead..
oh wait, I know one
Nah, but available to explain what I can help with..
having the internet makes things a lot easy to get answers to your questions and queries,
I remember essays at school, spending time in libraries, nowadays? Google (other browsers are available)

I played a few holes of golf on one of those META VR headsets yesterday,
I could have fun with that....

In a valley myself, running north - south. The worst usually blows over the top, well clear of us.
Snap, the same here...

Full name it appears is Katherine, I got Kate from listening to the radio.
Can't help you with yer visions though, yer on yer own there.
Is she small?
Hangabout, they can check their answers before submitting their "paper"!
That's not an exam as I remember exams. You went with what you could keep in yer head. I used to wear an earplug in one ear to stop everything going in one and out the other.
I remember spending time in libraries, researching. Oh to be able to do that now, in the quiet.

The VR life any better than real life?

Nope at home causing chaos..

Nah, questions are random for each exam.
say, all online exams over the UK on Friday night have the same test paper...
all computerised etc etc all done via internet.
Some countries have question pools so if you have a good memory.....
I had to wait almost a fortnight for my results plus then they took all the percentages of each candidate and number crunched and if you were above the percentage, you passed, some years you could pass with a lower percentage than the next exam.

Library? I use an app for that....
With online now, they can exam anytime..
Dunno how it really works but 19 out of 26 is a pass now for the Foundation, four levels now, Foundation, Intermediate, Full and Direct to Full...
I guess mines was direct to full..no stages in those days, if you sat and passed the morse, you got class a, I had class b and could use 50mhz and above bands...

Two people could sit the same exam, in the same building at the same time, and be given different questions then.
Is there a time limit to the exam?
If I remember right it used to be 75% and above of the average score for a pass. How they got the average score beat me. All results in that week, that month...
Anytime! No more sitting in a room with someone saying "No cheating" every so often. That's not fair...
I'm surprised they never made you resit, when they changed the system. They missed out on a money making opportunity there.
How's the cycle watching going. Caught up yet?

Nah, same questions in all exam venues that evening...
45 mins....
Simple..add all the exam results then divide by the number of folk taking it..
it was kinda silly, why not say 65 or 70% pass?
I dunno how they time everything, Ill ask next week or wait as it is the agm next Fri.
I'd already passed the RAE which was equivalent of today's full licence..
I returned to SWL, sold on the radio and upgraded my receiver, scanner and what else I needed,
I returned late 2008, got my call and license back,
I just passed 44,000 logged contacts the other day
Reminds me I better go upload everything into two clouds....
