Hate to tell you this, but it's not Boxing Day today, it's tomorrow. It's Christmas Sunday today.
It'll be the day when the servants of the house are given presents.

How'd you make the turkey into a paste?
Not heard of it before though.

Maybe the child catcher caught the kids, but that can't explain the lack of adults.

Could be right on the hangover part. They'll be avoiding any noise if they have overdone on the "christmas spirit".
