Owdo
You were told to get a move on...
Is it not still shorts and t-shirt weather up there. I thought wooly vests were saved for when it dropped below zero inside buildings. Or has tha bought a new walk-in freezer.

Hard drive okay, wireless mice now binned..
reinstalling everything from scratch anyway, it'll be quite the job...
Database problem first..
Up early to try sort it,
I linked to wrong file, ouch

I'm off out later so better get busy.
I've withdrawn for the beta testing or insider as they call it..
I need :cuppa:
Yer floppy drive ok. What were wrong with wireless mice?
Everything! A bit extreme in't'it. Still it'll give you something to do.
Database sorted?
Not a job you could do in yer sleep...
Ouch indeed.

Chauffer at the ready for the out.
Beta testing sounds a bit more honest than Insider updates. The latter sounding downright dodgy...
You had yer cuppa?

Well it was Crieff Games yesterday. The locals used to say once the games were over you started to draw your chair closer to the fire.
Were you taking part this year, or merely a spectator. That'll have been so they could lean against the wall, or to fit more in the room.
They go okay?

It's years since I've attended them. I could hear the bagpipes and the loudspeaker noise drifting over. As far as local reports go, they were a success again.
No more first places at the Highland Fling? Would the hammer be easier.
A strange, sweet sound carried over the air, taking you back to days long since gone...
Aren't you a local!

Sorry, was so engrossed in trying to get the other computer up and running,
I got lost in time...
Link to port this, port that, I hadn't kept a note of changes, DUH.
Still one thing to sort out about the main program used then I'll slowly work through everything.
Bleeding right arm not helping

Aye, local sayings has a sense about them, I'm more liking this type of WX plus I like the nights getting longer.
Folk say I'm weird that way..
I just hate the summer..

Anyhoo hope all is well,
Cat is still alive and kicking...

Me too. Quite happy to be a weirdo. I think I suffer from reverse SAD and get more miserable in the summer. I can't wait for the cool, crisp mornings and I'm quite happy once it gets dark and I can potter along wearing my head torch while most folks are still just getting up.

I actually some floppies, kid's projects from Primary School on them.
I created a new one, took ages but seems okay, the closing of the prog send a full file to a location I can't find or haven't set up yet. It's Essential....
I'll get there..
Quick dash today as Mrs and youngest Toodle due to take me out.
Catch up later

Bust the day. Can you you fix it!
Aye, it's that time in life when you can take things easy.
Their after something, be careful what you agree to doing. And slow down, you'll meet yourself coming back one day.

They still using floppies in schools up there!
Isn't the location of where the file is being sent included anywhere? If you've not set it up, how can it send it there... Sounds like it is.
Some day... steady away...
Youngest Toodle doing the driving, with you and Mrs M in the rear passenger seats.
Hopefully. Might depend on youngest Toodles driving. She might like going slow and steady.

25 years ago? if my kids used them..
I can get the programs abridged version which is really no good.
The other has the basics but I'd rather have the complete info...

Of course, how plod never sees her driving,
I often wonder at 23 months how she reaches the pedals and gears.
Can't be much worse than quite a few driving on the roads, I laugh at the constant criticism, twice on a short motorway hop, we got cut up by two clowns in seperate Audis crossing from the fast lane to off lanes, hairdressers.
Some wahoos out there,
We were on a very narrow country road (for the first time) and it was very bendy and got a mouthful from a car spares delivery van, I called a pal who works in spares at a national garage chain up here, and asked him to pass a message to the eejit that I was decided to head out to chat with him, bad man swore at us:laugh:, of course my pal embellished things that I am the uncle of some not very nice people who wouldn't be happy etc. Hopefully a lesson learnt not to abuse random folk..

Thing is you never who you are talking with etc..
