I'm now a Jedi...
Bob Kenobi..
don't fancy the robes though, I'll go undercover.
Was going to put it together today BUT couldn't wait.
Mrs M just looked/laughed, I couldn't make it out...
Just under 12 inches tall..

I found it funny it was the railways who got the legislation of the motor car slow speed limit and all that at the start of the motor car revolution. watched an interesting thing lately how income from slavery heavily financed the massive expansion at the time, UCL (?) have done amazing work on the subject. They fair recompensed those who 'gave' up their indentured people, a delicate subject but interesting..

Off to 'dobblered' later this morning, only round the corner from Maccys, cafe time, I time
Looks good, is it a fully working model?
You stayed up all night or got up early to complete construction?
Black cloak not your style then...
Get Mrs M to make the holster for it, then you can wear it the next time you visit McD's for a coffee.
She laughed! show her what laughing gets her, Obi Bob.
A two handed job, akin to a broadsword then...

From what I remember, they were required to walk in front of the traction engines at the time. A practice that continued when "viable" motor cars started being used. I'm all for a return to those speed limits, possibly the red flag man as well. It'd create a few new jobs, if nothing else.
Don't think there's any large town or city on on this island that doesn't have some link with it.
We tend to "forget" what happened, and seems we'll only repeat it at some stage.

"Dobblered" sounds painful, just as well there's a McD's nearby, you can have something to help with the pain...

nah, looks real BUT the original has a six star, this one was done with a seven.
I did print off the six but the 'end' doesn't look as good

Problem is, I did it before crashing out, sitting on my desk in case..
Nobody knows if it real or not..
Slightly under a foot long, I'm impressed.
Lots of variants kicking around.
Logged all logged and upped

Will you be wearing it when you go shopping or just around the house, when there's young ones to impress?
So, that's how you can tell it's Obi Bobs and not Obi Wan's. His had a six pointed star, you've got a seven pointed star.

You put it together before you hit the blanket for the night.
On yer desk, where it's to hand should someone break in one night, or find yer secret stash...
Any of the other variants working?
Yer doing yer logging earlier, or yer just getting quicker at it.

I'll just swagger about the the Towers just now..
No need to let anyone know the powers I can unleash:laugh:
Wonder what i can do next?
I'm almost out of the silvery stuff though..

My secret stash is out everyone's way..
Had gone back on after 'logging' to test something, had a wee blip in a programme so had to check it worked normally, it did.
It takes a few mins..
Off to annoy everyone

What'll Da Boss say about you doing that I wonder.
All those years on the dance floor helped you hone yer moves. As for controlling the minds of others...
Howabout a large bowie knife, held in a sheath out of sight, on yer back! Just remember to remove both before laying down.

Someone may already have found it, but said nothing.
A "wee blip", yer quite handy with the technical terminology these days. You went back on to check on the "blip" and found it were just running slow. Maybe it's running at normal speed and it's you moving too fast!
You got the house to yerself then...

Within a mile?

Fred and Ginger couldn't lace my cuban heels..
Doin' the Palais Glide:rolleyes:

Nah, it was decoding only three or four lines and should have been 20 plus so a reinstall and go through a set up again, I spent over a week adapting to it, I've tweaked it a bit more....
We'd headed W today, jeez, temporary traffic lights everywhere, good idea though as it'll protect the workies, all for it.
Think the rules were once if you were 1.5m from the road edge, you could work (I'm talking cutting barums or grass plots), ones a 3 month job so a four way on a roundabout, two which are an A road, chaos. We got through three changes after we got caught up, we should have gone the tourist route but it is a bit bendy in places, next time?

Dib Dib place tonight I think, rain back on now approaching 7mm...
Too much excitement for one day..
I might need a drink when I get back...

I checked there are replica Bowies, replica everything to be fair.
Think I better get a jacket...

I just looked at the editor of the spellchecker, grammer thingy on this browser,
the main language is English UK but you can use the US version if you want to, why should someone in the UK use the US version? Honor the language we have, Tsk..

Don't all those other people within a mile mind?

Didn't Fred, and Ginger for that matter, wear slip on footwear.
Was that popular at the the time you were gracing the floor of the then local disco.

Not even doing half a job. Hope you asked for a refund, yer money back! T'weren't yer "tweaking" that caused the problem was it...
Does it work, for now.
Village People style, only I don't remember which one were the Jedi. We'd traffic lights all over the town centre for nigh on two years. From one set to the next, with no connection with each set, and only a handful of vehicles through any set at any one time. Same contractor as well. Health and safety is one thing, but when they shut half the road down si they don't have to walk from the carpark being used as a yard, is taking the proverbial. Local roundabout got its trimming not so long back and they'd to close off one lane to do it. Using the closed lane to park up in. They were nearly ten foot in cutting the grass. And it took them a week to do it!
You should have gone by the touristy route, you were out to see the world, or your little part of it. Chauffered round as per usual...

You taking yer own HobNobs with you this time. Rain stopped earlier this morning here, non here at present.
Too much excitement, wots tha been doing!
Has tha a liquid refreshment in mind, should you feel you need one.

There's genuine ones out there as well, including the genuine Bowie knives, still made. The newer originals can cost more than an old original.
You putting a vertical sheaf in it, in place of the strap on sheaf.

There's usually the same option of American English on yer mobile. Some of the suggestions can really get you wondering. They think we all talk the way they do on't other side...
And yer father and mother, not fergetting granpa...

They were before my time..
I played the music..
Occasionally, i spent most (summer) nights letting someone else spin...
I did Mon, Wed, Fri and we shared Sat, remember pubs closed at 10 in my days, in 75 and 76 I did another place at £5 per night (Friday), £2 a night at previous place is the now fading holiday resort, I met Mrs M at that one.. now a block of flats and the previous? razed to the ground.

Opened a bottle of chilled apple juice, allegedly Oirish...
More a custard cream bloke...

Fred and Ginger?
Never stuck the records on and then got them moving on the dancefloor. Or did they just swamp the place when you showed up.
I remember the earlier closing times. Bell being rung for last orders this side of midnight. Now struggling to remember the last time I heard one being rung, and the "Time gentleman please" booming out across the room. Nearly always a woman doing this part.
The fading holiday resort still there. The one before that gone entirely.

Magners by any chance?
Odd, I had you marked more as a HobNob man than custard cream.
Jacobs Custard Creams?

Morning all :hello:
The Chaos twins have joined us..
I looked forward to a calm day..........gone in a flash.
Enjoy YOUR day:laugh:
Owdo, I just made it.
They've probably come to see you demonstrating yer moves with yer lightsaber...
Don't disappoint them!
You could always give them dancing lessons, you were good enough to give them singing lessons.
I'll try, you do the best you can...

Burys of Sains are 43p a pack for chocolate bourbon biscuits. Nowt wrong withe "olde school biscuits", just as long as they haven't come from an olde school. There's limits you know.

Harder make a town disappear than a few buildings. You carry yer record collection when you head back in that direction, just in case! You may have left, but escaping it is harder...
Well I can't argue with that piece. I wasn't there before or since you met Mrs M. Yer eyes meeting across the dance floor...
Aldi Orchard, brewed in Kent, and it's Oirish?
