Excellent to watch, lots of pairs drafting each other Bert, Runar,

AAAC, LBH, setting an incredible pace, with Bob and Bill valiantly holding on as long as they could.

What a finish, LBH pipped AAAC to the line in the last 0.1 of a mile- 1 second difference in time and average of over 30mph:notworthy:

New Record to boot:hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper:

Arggggghhhh, really sorry guys, got tied up at work and couldn't get away. Didn't even realise the time.

Glad to see you started it Geoff, Thankyou.

Apologies once again folks.

Looks like it hasn't been smooth sailing tonight. I say blame Richard, at least that's what I usually do.........or sometimes I blame the dog....he should never have gallivanted off like that! (Richard i mean, not the dog!)I'll be sure to point out the carnage he created when he gets home!!:cycle:
Pah, I disappear for one evening and everything goes to pot!

Glad you got it sorted guys and judging by the above post there was some serious racing going in. :okay:

Having a nice warm up in the velodrome to get my cadence to speed sorted out :bicycle: bsim crashes 10 minutes in :cursing:

Ok no worries. Just jump onto the chaingang  where is it .:angry:.

Eventually on the CG with GW, Whorty and myself. Working a little autobus between us :okay: crash :cursing::cursing:.....:cursing::cursing: full pc this time not bsim :cursing::cursing:.

Ok wait for the system to reboot . Join in last place, thinking my session is shot, but I could help the other two to a time . Whorty disappears suddenly and reappears a minute or so back. I start to drop back but as I slow the gap does not get smaller .

Sorry Whorty but I decided to leave you to the bus wheels . I catch up with GW and we trundle along for a while at about 20 odd mph. Then you guessed it, bsim decides its had enough and boots me out again :cursing::cursing::banghead::banghead::cursing::cursing::cry::cry::surrender:

That's me done for the leagues tonight. I do a longish cool down . An hour of lost bsim data tonight .

GW and Whorty sorry for not helping as much as I wanted .

Wondered where you vanished to. @Goldwolfie dropped back to pick you up the first time and pace you back .... it felt like a real ride

I didn't think I had a full race in me after last nights Moose climb. Stuck at it as long as possible then just dropped off. I wanted to tell you guys to leave me but couldn't - so glad you two powered on. I so wanted to try to get you to Peke but legs had other ideas!

Really enjoyed it, but you 2 are just too strong for me :notworthy:

I missed most of that but caught some excellent drafting by runar and Bert. Well done guys, it looked a lot smoother than I've managed so far.

Damn AAAC, you made my HR go the highest yet.
I tried some snake bites during the last 5 K's but just couldn't shake you of. I almost fell victim to my own strategy as you just kept coming back so strong.

Yep, nice one Lars, I finally got some drafting in and have never had so many 'rests' in a session before.
Had a nice little 4 man team going there and it wasn't long before I realised that we were on a pace to beat my lone effort on Tuesday so the winner of this Stage could well take GC in the League.
Bill, I missed you dropping of the back there as I was concentrating too much on the front of affairs and by the time I noticed you going backwards I felt that I might be risking the GC if I dropped back what with Bob and Lars doing so well.
Lars, I couldn't work out how much you had left so risked taking the upper hand on that final small climb and almost blew myself up but once you went past I knew I just had to stay within 5 seconds of you to take GC.
So all fair in love and war, you got the Stage (and the Vet 2 record) and I got GC.
Good news for you is that the Stage Record stays on the screen for all to see but the GC win only shows to those in the League.
