It looks that steep I'm considering braving the artic conditions and doing the club TT instead

You can never make sufficient gains on the flat to negate a slow climb

I was going to let myself loose on Amazon and get myself some headphones, anyone in team snot up for it ?
Yep Bluetooth sounds like a better option doesn't it just need to check the PC out in the garage has Bluetooth

6 plus minutes?!
That is a minute gain per hill.

Sorry All, but now it's time to discuss the serious business of tonight's pain and suffering.
Chaingang Spring Sessions Stage 4
Bkool VR Ride - FC Pt4 65%
Tonight at 7pm + 10 mins warmup.

This looks to be one for the climbers so my hope is the climbers will be tired by the time we get to the long steep hill at the end. How long I do not know but it looks vicious.
So what to do? Take it easy on the flat to save energy for the hill, or try to make up time on the climbers by going fast on the flat???
Looks like I'll be starting it tonight. See you all on the line at 7.
Thanks Bill for keeping things going in my absence! :hugs: Still outdoors for me I'm afraid!

Thats exactly what I have in store for me tonight - was near hoping they cancel it as its windy, freezing and sleet showers here! :cold:

I'll be on the missing list tonight I'm afraid. And not just because the course sounds like torture.

Hopefully have a go a little later.
Me too going out for a curry with the lads. Sadly however the lads are now fat middle aged and largely bald copies of the group of young bucks who used to go out and about together so we will be out comparing who takes what prescription medication and risking heartburn following a big meal.

Sad this getting older lark but probably better than the alternative.

I am expecting to take is steady tonight, my shoulder is aching badly today. This may change when I'm in the ride and the competitive bit kicks in, I just wish my lungs could match my ambition.

I'll have my headset in if anyone wants to try it out. I will be in the general bkool channel.
