Sorry, I think your Handicap was a little out, due to your previous high power up a single go at the climb.

I've adjusted it for any other attempts, and/or next week.

New Handicap weight is 54.5 Kg (120.15 pounds)
OK. Thanks Geoff. You're just trying to tempt me to have another try. :hyper:

Thanks for the encouragement - i wish i could show the turn of speed that Bobinski showed me as he flashed past - i must remember to try and save a bit for the end !

Sorry to see you go bill. At the beginning I was sneakily holding back a bit so I could latch onto you as a pacemaker. I thought if your plan worked ou might drag me to a faster time. Shameless, I know^_^
It didn't work?
Bill, why don't you try manual rather than auto set up and see what happens?

Felt like I was going to suffer a lot and probably come last so I bailed. I'm a bit confused why I can't make the kind of power I saw you pumping out, but I will try the manual pairing next time. I might experiment with some different weights without saving to see if I can track down the problem. Of course the problem could just be me.

Excellent to watch albeit a little bit jerky as my Internet was very slow tonight, it is affected by rain! Well done JLaw, impressive times from everyone:okay:

Oh yes, you're the first (and only) person to exceed the target Watts/Kg. :bravo:

Well done!

New Handicap weight is only a little higher 49.7 Kg (109.61 pounds)
It's the highest average power I've done for anything > 10 minutes. So I'm obviously happy. That ride is comparable to a 20 minute ftp test, which would put my FTP around 260, which is a slight improvement.

I can think of a few spots where I took it easy, but I don't see besting that effort in a significant way in the immediate future.

Well done, I'm afraid I lost connection with Bkool half way through recording it, and had to restart the PC to get it back, so recording in in two parts, with a gap in the middle...

Finish - https://www.dropbox.com/s/rvmjthzane857g3/Bkool Indoor 18_05_16 20_21_33.mp4?dl=0

Thanks again Geoff - I enjoyed watching the Start video, as that was a first for me to actually take my turn at the front of the leading group.

That lasted to about half way and then I started to feel it and couldn't keep pace. Probably doing at little too much with 2 attempts at that, plus daily commuting. Still 90 seconds quicker than last night, so I'm happy with that.

Hopefully there is something left for the Chain Gang tomorrow night.

I wont be starting the session so I'm sure someone will be along shortly with more details. You'll be looking out for Entrenamiento a la hora del almuerzo.

Should be an interesting one - its straight in with an assault on a hill followed by a long downhill which should allow time to recover a bit before the last section.
(Got my 2nd club race tonight so wish me luck! xx()
