Can anyone shed any light I'm having with a league I participate in, the Lands End to John O'Groats (The Beginning). I've completed stages by manually scheduling them, but have noticed the stages are still present in my schedule list. Lately I noticed the Group option whilst in the simulator which has all the stages listed that thankfully disappear when I complete the stage. But when I interrogate the league for my progress I don't feature anyway within it??

Thanks for the reply AAAC 76C (I'm afraid I don't know to paste all your reply here). What I don't get is why in a created league the stages don't have the trophies next to them they instead have a group icon in my schedule??

In Bkool if I go to share/ Leagues and scroll down there is a league with stages completed!

Whilst I'm at it!! My Sessions/ Schedule is rammed with a further 29 stages of the Lands End to John O'Groats all the way up to Glasgow!!

Any way of getting rid of some of these or is it an email to Bkool?

There is a difference between Group sessions and League sessions.

You can schedule/setup a session and make it a group Session, it just isn't part of any league.

To make it part of a league you have to first created the league, then the stage, then add the session as a master session for the group and league. It is then only available for the scheduled time and will only count towards the league between the scheduled start and end dates for the league stage. You can only have one league active for a group at any one time, but can have any number of stages active within the league.

However, once a league has started you cannot seem to add stages, so it is difficult to setup a league with a lot of stages, and they tend to be done in chunks.

Group sessions can be setup at any time, but don't record in any league, they just appear in group members schedules.

It sounds like the Group you are in have setup lots of group stages, rather than a league.

It is very hard to get rid of sessions in your schedule, though I think I have done this in the past via the Calendar in My Activity, I can't remember how!

Hey guys

Had this trainer from 2014 and it's done wonders for me but what is the biggest hardest climb in the sim nowadays? I'm still periodically doing the col du mollard croix fer which is about 1.2 miles of total climbing is there anything bigger yet that has video or 3D?
Depends on how you define hardest. It seems like you're looking for more vertical.

The way I'd go about that would be to pick the ride that you want, then use the lapcount trick to set up a repeat to get the desired level of pain. If it's a video ride, the video will stop at the end of the first lap; if there's 3d that view "just works" when you start later laps.

Or you could always create a ride yourself; there's several in Hawaii which would get you more vertical. You just trace the ride with the right web software, & download your gpx file into bkool and it should spit out a 3d ride in an hour or so.

News:

- You can now connect your Bkool Pro using Bluetooth Smart.
- Interval training by power now available (ERG mode).
- New split arch design in the 3D World.
- Dutch: New language available in the simulator.
Has anyone found a way to access the ERG mode?

I think in bkool you press the "p" key and it sets it at the power at that moment. Whether there is additional functionality is unclear. perhaps it is something they are looking to add.

It is working in Zwift and also Trainer road in windows at least.

Tonight's Handicap Chase is a special Handicap Climb with adjusted rider weights to equalize Watts/Kg

Session is password protected, password is chase (type h twice if help screen appears)

Course is Haytor Vale - http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/576391?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1

I will start the warm-up close to 8:00pm BST (UTC+1) to ensure the race starts around 8:10pm BST (UTC+1).

Everyone taking part should adjust their weight to the allocated value before entering the warm up, preferably with at least 5 minutes to go.

Weights are generally reduced, in some cases considerably, to achieve the target Watts/Kg, so speeds should be higher than usual. The main part of the session should not take more than around 20 minutes, and in any case less than 30 minutes, to avoid changing Fitness Levels. Anyone taking longer than 30 minutes would be advised to discard their session without saving.

The Start (for everyone) should be between 8:05 and 8:10, when the warm-up ends.

Once underway, there is a short neutralized zone (0.15 miles or 0.24 km) to avoid taking advantage of the lowered resistance at start, where no-one is allowed to overtake @JLaw (or if he is not present, you must gradually increase speed to a maximum of 20 mph (32 kph) until you pass the 0.15 (0.24 km) point.

If anyone else wants to take part, please can you let us know here and we can work out a weight Handicap from your FTP power value or similar.

I'll be doing carrot run for you all earlier. I'll post my time if I finish early enough.

@JLaw are you leading out the first 0.15 miles today?

If the KICKR start problem is solved, please can you accelerate up to full speed gradually, to give everyone a chance to cluster behind you for the end of the neutralised section.

Thanks,

Geoff
