I expected a flatter start based on the profile graphic... Needless to say I was in the wrong gears and popped.

Interesting how Rob could stay with Bob on the steepest (11%) sections, where I guess the Handicap is giving maximum benefit, but fell back when it slackened off to more like 6%.

Absolutely Geoff. Really struggled to say with Rob but knew if I could then I should be able to pull away-though I was bu no means certain. Breathless after I pulled away near the end and if he had come back at me I would probably have folded.
Well done all who took part tonight. If you are like me you probably still have not finished sweating. Yuck!

Wow that was crazy. I could hardly breath at the end and was near collapse:sweat::heat:xx(

Likewise - it was only 2.5 miles but was really struggling for air long before the end.

Good news though as my Bsim connection appears to have been resolved. Emailed Bkool on Sunday night and they replied with the standard response to open the firewall and close my anti virus, which didn't seem logical as it was happening on my tablet.

I did nothing and I reckon they must have done something at their end, as it has been first time logins and solid as a rock last night and tonight - so hopefully normal service has resumed.

I know that feeling. I don't normally collapse over the bars but I nearly did tonight xx(

The raw numbers don't tell the whole truth. The session for me says I average 168w on bkool, but 201 on my vectors. The reverse of what I normally get 220 bkool, 195 vectors. Though the vector numbers are similar there's a 50-60w swing on bkool.

I think I may need to change the way I do these rides. I may have to drop my cadence back to 80, instead of 90+, as I just run out of steam about half way.:surrender:

Looking at yesterday's effort and comparing against Bob/Bill. I was roughly even power. It was Geoff`s aggressive handicap that did for me .

I was dying quite badly at the end so I need a holiday:surrender:
