Doesn't seem to be in the league results Bob. Did you do the ride from the league tab?
User error there I think Bill. Every time I tried to schedule from the league tab with ghosts and bots it failed. So I tried outside the leave and all ok .no doubt I did something wrong:blush:

Anyone doing the rerun tonight?
I'm happy to start it and will do, but I may include my ghost because I doubt I'll make it to the end with the heat in my loft today.

I'll have a shot
That's good AAAC. Unfortunately I'm not feeling on form today after last two nights rides and the heat in my loft so I won't be able to keep up, however my ghost will be there so you will see what you have to do to win the stage. I suggest you try to beat my ghost rather than me as I put in a decent ride on Thursday as did the others.

`Well done AAAC. A tough ride if you weren't in the draft. I missed the bit where you fell behind and when I continued watching you were 40 seconds behind. Don't know if you were able to get any draft from my ghost.

What can I say.
Your ghost was too strong from me so there are no excuses other than:
1. I ended up in a warm up ride against Jocab and I put a bit too much into it and burnt some candels
2. I went off too quick and I didn't know whether it was your ghost or you coming up to me
3. When I relaised it was your ghost I started to drop back to pick you up and help you draft back on
4. Then you abandoned so I had to chase back on on my own
5. Whilst chasing back I came off on a slipery corner and had to take someone elses bike
6. Then my team member who abodned got on the race radio and said draft my ghost, which wound me up because I would have done that if you hadn't ditched.
7. When I got back on it was a bit odd because I was drafting someone who had two other poeple with him who wern't there so it was a bit stop start for me so I deciced to go it alone.
8. The other thing to remeber (and this is a real string tugger) is that you are all elite's and I am a lowly old Pro with heart disease
9. Finaly when I was out today I did notice that I had some allergies
But like I said at the start there are no excuses I just wasn't good enough on the day.

Just a note to anyone who is a 'friend' of me on Bkool.
As we pretty much talk all we want here and we can see most of each others rides that are of any note, because it is probably in one of 'our' leagues, I am going to unfriend any cyclechat friends just to clean up my BKool homepage.
No offence intended to anyone so I hope it causes none.

Sorry I had to abandon AAAC. There was no way I could continue with the heat in my loft, and I saw you were coming back to get me so due to us not being in radio contact I had to abandon or your ride would have been ruined for nothing. I wouldn't have been sable to stay with you and even then only last until half way at the most. Thursday was different as conditions were good and I was well rested. I thought you might be able to stay with me if you drafted but I'm still not completely sure ghosts can be drafted as well as in live races. I'm sure it would've been a better race had you been there on Thursday.
And as for us lot being elite , that's just because we forgot to change our weights back after the weight handicap races. My real place is a pro1 if I'm lucky, but will take what I can get using any bkool quirks I come across. Looking forward to losing my elite jersey and getting back to pro.

No worries AAAC. I won't be offended, although probably would if you hadn't posted the above:girldance:

You probably would as the slower you went I would as well as my enthusiasm for pain today was no too high and any excuse to slow down would have been gladly taken. I have to say though I had to keep going because you were watching and I'm surprised I didn't loose more time sooner as it got to about 53 seconds pretty quick and stayed there until the last quarter or later and ended up at 1:30 which wasn't 3 bad 'considering the circumstances'
Saying that I bet all those other guys that joined in wondered what the fek was going on, it seemed we were less than 30 seconds into the race any they were way back and all of them soon dropped out.

hello

is that you have problems since the last update of the firmware (3.10 ant +) ? I just made the Alpe d'Huez I stepped over average of 365W . It's just impossible.

Hi SamL.
Yes, there's definitely some problems since the last update. Power readings are higher and probably unrealistic, which is not too hard to live with, but the main problem we've noticed is the sudden stops when hitting sudden gradient changes. Very annoying and very unrealistic. Also ruins any competition you're having with someone who's still on older firmware.

Hi guys! Aopologies for my sustained radio silence, and complete lack of participation, but yes, work is off the charts atm. Kids are staying at my mum's through a lot of the summer hols, as Camlo and I are are both working full time, so making good use of the time and working some crazy hours. Haven't had a day off in two weeks, and done several 14 hour days. Far too tired to cycle, and all RL events have now been completed, so no pressure there, but you have to make hay while the sun shines as they say, and although I'm a bit fatigued, the bank balance is looking a lot fitter even if I am not.
