Hi guys! Aopologies for my sustained radio silence, and complete lack of participation, but yes, work is off the charts atm. Kids are staying at my mum's through a lot of the summer hols, as Camlo and I are are both working full time, so making good use of the time and working some crazy hours. Haven't had a day off in two weeks, and done several 14 hour days. Far too tired to cycle, and all RL events have now been completed, so no pressure there, but you have to make hay while the sun shines as they say, and although I'm a bit fatigued, the bank balance is looking a lot fitter even if I am not.
Well now you're making me feel incredibly lazy!

;)

I don't think anyone believes that you've been sitting around doing nothing during this fine weather.

Hi Adam,
Great to hear business is going well, even if it means you'll have some catching up to do in the all important virtual world of bkool. The guys here have been ultra busy, in fact I've never seen such effort being put in, with most of them going elite and making watts/kg that would have seemed impossible a few months ago. The ones without blue outfits have been doing the long warm-downs which has brought them back to the yellow/red/green shirts.
It's all good though, as you will just try harder to beat them .

That long ocean swim is what I'm most impressed with- no getting off and walking.. How long did you have to train for it?

Welcome back to the 'real world' Adds.

Saying real world I have just seen something truly amazing:
A.I.D, one of the leading participants in the BKool summer league, has just completed stage 4 at an average speed of no less than 57.6 kph over 30 km taking 31 minutes which is 11.5 minutes quicker than the closest contestant so far who averaged 306 watts.
The course is the Champs Elysees and climbs 8 m over those 30 km but climbs roughly 35m and falls again 4 times as you ride up and down the Champs and around the Arc de Triomphe.
This man should consider going for Bradley's hour record which stands at a mere 54.5 kph on a flat track.
Can't wait to see how Pepe Tatche responds to that but I expect he's going to be even quicker.
I'm going to have to get a new battery for my bike to come anywhere close to that.

That is obviously just absurd. Hopefully bkool are looking at the results from this and other leagues and rewriting the software so it better approximates reality.

The kickr is very realistic in duplicating my road numbers to workouts now.

I am away at my summer base training camp in the Bahamas. Still managing to get some decent workouts in between Pina-coladas rehydration

It doesn't feel normal working out before 7am. Too bloody warm:sun::training:

Bkool Summer Cup at 7pm (the official ride with chance to win bkool glasses) makes a good warm up for the handicap race if anyone wants a longer ride.

I just ruined my legs for the next few days :B). Did a short chaingang from last thursday. I used @Goldwolfie and rob as ghosts and lost touch even quicker than last week :hello:. But I did manage to go for 30 minutes @ a new pb ftp 233w :wahhey:. I just could not keep cool enough to complete the whole session xx(.

No chance of doing the summer cup or handicap tonight :surrender:. I will give one or the other a go tommorow ;).
