Yeah sorry about that Bill but I could only just stay with you and wasn't any help really. I was only slowing you down! :blush:

Enjoyed the race though. Great going bridgey! :notworthy:
Thanks Rick - felt good tonight. I made a break for it quite early - in fact I tried a few times before I got it to stick - because I know I can't ever seem to out-sprint Bill so my best chance was to get ahead and hold the lead till the end. The time gaps were all over the place though - did you notice that Bill?

Well hunted mr TT i have never felt more like a rabbit being chased down by a greyhound ! well and truly put in my place

I didn't think I was going to catch you to be honest Bertie, but maybe it's an advantage having a target to chase. Plus I was cycling on pure rage! 'Some days you're the nail and some days you're the hammer' comes to mind because you've had my number recently. Just a shame I didn't catch Mr CXR too!

Not at all Rick. I made the decision to go back and draft with you and I'm sure that my time was at least as good as if I'd stuck it out alone because of the drafting. I really didn't fancy doing that on my own and I knew I couldn't catch Bridgy.

the vision normally all goes a bit gray after about 30 minutes :headshake:

It's probably invented by someone sitting at a desk who hasn't considered in use HMI requirements.
The sort of poeple who wohld put an attitude indicator 90 degrees out because its fits better, no consideration of the fact that the Pilot will only blance at it and make instantaneous decisions based on its display and then find he is nosing down instead of banking left.

Hats off to all you hardcore cyclechaters, i had a wake up call tonight. At one point I was questioning whether I had the legs to finish.

Goldwolfie pushed me hard at the beginning then disappeared - what's that all about, lol

I was enjoying your company @Monte and then I lost my connection for the first time in months. I continued offline and then got a flat with about 0.5 miles to go. As it was downhill to the end I jumped off and turned the pedals by hand thinking I would be able to save the ride the next time I logged in if I finished.
Well that plan didn't work as when I tried to login I got @kipster 's avatar to login with - how could that happen. Anyway I logged in as a New User and of course my ride had disappeared.

So alot of effort for nothing andI've got a flat to repair tomorrow - at least I can't blame that on Bkool.;

This is the reason I also run my garmin edge at the same time, I got bit a few times early on and just out of habit start it now. At least I'll have some record of the effort, even if not on bkool. I record the cadence, speed, power and HR sensors I have
