Are they slower? I read that as 5 people going faster than before and 3 going slower - unless I'm misunderstanding your point?

I was looking at times in standings from earlier this year when the faster riders, say you and Bill, were faster than this week. Actually, Bill faster then-33m-but you are faster now. But then you are stronger and faster now than you were even then. I may be over analyzing

Re the other post: I will try that. I know at one point i went from 6okmh to approx 30kmh in only a few seconds.It may be that the sim is simply too quick to react to no power being applied to pedals and then compensates.

If Tommy has booked a family room, i'll doubt they would mind 3 blokes sharing. My room is a single, but I will check if i can get two single beds in. I dont mind sharing with Tommy(I have babel fish, plus he has a posh accent like the Mrs ), We can sort something out. Ask for cancellations list just in case rooms pop up.

Well i am happy to share with you two as long as room big enough to accommodate our egos's. Perhaps hold onto both for now and decide later?

I have ridden slightly faster earlier in the year on older software and firmware with a Bkool Pro, it could of been a TTT session, but I was a 50Watts less power but faster.

Going to phone the metropolitan tomorrow about rooms has anyone mentioned cyclechat or the DD when booking just incase.
I've got my own camp bed and im quite well house trained .
But if i cant get in a decent hotel then I'll camp it, camped once in January woke up to find frost on the inside of the tent .

Hotel Commodore has places currently, I generally book through booking.com with free cancellation option

I should mention I know a couple of others who are interested in the ride but they will sort their accommodation if and when they make a decision.

Bloody hell, stop typing so many messages. Struggling to keep up. Right, I haven't been to the Metropole yet to speak to the manager. I only know him through the running club, he's not a best buddy or anything and to be honest, if it's fully booked, I can't really ask him to reduce the rates, as he has no reason to does he?
BUT, he is very pleasant, and I'm sure sharing rooms won't be a problem, and when I know what I have to ask exactly, I am more than happy to go and speak to him.
The Commodore is only a stones throw away, and I'm sure it will be ok, never stayed, nor know anyone that has, but I have plastered a wall in there!
The campsite is halfway between my house and the Metropole, and if you let me know who would like to stay there I will sort that, as it is my brother in laws place. The campsite is fine, decent showers etc, some hard standings and electric if you want it.
I am happy for someone to sleep in my caravan if they like, but I would only recommend one in there as the bunk beds are small. Can sleep in it on the drive, or I can tow it to the campsite if there's lots of folks staying there.
I am more than happy to help in any way I can.

@Whorty if you are still interested in doing HIIT sessions try the Anaerobic 2 by ironchus, in the workouts tab in route search. Starts real slow, the first 12 minutes are . Then it goes a little for a few minutes. Then for the next 5 minutes it's .

From about minute 20 it's . I had nearly finished the first set when bsim crashed .

Oh yes there is a perfectly good cafe about 500m away from the campsite, which does a great breakfast, and it's quite large too.
