Bad luck Monte, maybe you had a lucky escape. that was painful... more dead stops than my first girlfriend put on me!

Well done Bill. Class showed in the end bud.

You did great Tommy. You were at a disadvantage having to catch up and I had Daddy Pigs ghost to draft for a bit so while you were catching up I was cruising and keeping my HR down. My new tyre was helping too.

Oh well that sucked donkey bits. Was on the start line 45 seconds to go and the network went down. Turned it all off and then on again didn't work flounced into the house and turned everything there on and off again and after about 15 minutes of sulking got it working. Joined the ride behind the last rider but nobody there and could only see the big boys miles down the road. Had a lonely ride and then the network went wonky again so couldn't save the ride.

Bahhhhhhhh

At least I wasn't savaged by a hoard of vicious killer rats.

Great ride there everyone, especially Tommy, you threw everything at that one:okay: Thought I had an under par Bob, but alas no. I got some long virtual speeds going up the steep sections, couldn't do anything but wait.

Racing is still the place to build power and speed, Held a high cadence for most of it.

Andy, I only caught you because I finally learnt not to attack the steep inclines. I thought you would come after me and was grateful you didn't!

You jinxed me. I'm on call this week and after remembering to start the computer to get the windows updates done I just got called in.
Yeah btdt  :cursing:
Yesterday was bloody frustrating. It took longer to log onto the works laptop than it did to examine, diagnose and fix the fault :banghead: . 3 and 1/2 hours total time for a < 5 minute fix. Travelling around London on Friday at rush hours :banghead:

I had forgotten these quirks, I went hard into the steep hills only to be greeted with slow blue numbers I couldn't shake off.

Bike fit is going to be on my Christmas list.
Our LBS has just got a new system in and I am developing pains above both knees and it's something I have been considering for ages.

Is that TriUK?

I finally booked a proper bike fit as a birthday treat to myself in a couple of weeks. Have to go up to Bridgwater but they have a computer controlled rig setup and it will be interesting to see if my bike is close to ideal or not.

I'm looking forward to a couple of hours of bike related pampering on my birthday, to take my mind off the fact that I can actually cash in my pension and blow the lot! Lucklily an alergy to giving the tax man a large share of my money will stop me...

@bobinski looks like your feeling much better, my legs couldn't cope tonight in fact i can safely say that I didn't enjoy the session my mind wondered about doing a goat ride and how much fun it would be instead of this  i was about 20-30 seconds slower tonight than the last time and everyone's connection was jumping about so i couldn't do a steady chase down Noha's was the worse.
@Monte shame you lost your connection you had just over a minute on me and you was pulling away.
So goat ride at 5 tomorrow then:hyper:

I was talking about Rock and Road near Toolstation:

The Retül Müve SL Dynamic Fit Bike is available now in our bike fit studio. Please feel free to come in and have a look for yourself. We can talk you through the process of a bike fit and show you the equipment we use.

Well, a bit of an improvement on the other night but then I had done a ride this morning and I hit 150 miles for the week which I am surprised to say I have not done for some time. So, not too bad. My quads were sore and just didn't like me trying to turn a big gear. Way off the leaders pace though :notworthy:
It's not my kind of session either but not sure I would have preferred a goat session! ^_^
