Tried to create my own route. Took a half marathon I did and uploaded the .gpx file, gave it a name etc. No warnings from Bkool ... all green.

However, I can not find it when I search for sessions.

Is there a "wait time" before it becomes visible when searching for sessions.

Thanks !

[QUOTE="kipster, she's working in Halifax so doesn't need it.
The best ride I've ever did was from Toronto to Nova Scotia. Almost all paved bike trails. If you go for a visit you should take your bike.[/QUOTE]
I forget that the North Americans stole all the British place names. Unforunately for me, Halifax is in Yorkshire, just to the west of Leeds. Some great hills but I haven't taken my bike up there yet. She lives in a little town called Brighouse famous for a mining band along with Rastrick, anyone remember the Floral Dance by Terry Wogan, they were the band.

@kipster Are you expecting bad weather indoors?

Good old Yorkshire ^_^

I know, the mudguards went on last weekend and will stay on until spring, as they are a pain to put on and take off.

Also, I know a few like the Conti Ultra Sport tyres for the turbo, as do I, chain reaction have them in their Black Friday deals for £8.99

Cheers Kip nice find.

Also nice set up you have there. I've just set my turbo up in our spare room but it's a work in progress. Not sure the missus is entirely convinced...

Bob, for a while I was convinced you were just playing with me, but by about half way I sensed that you had been weakened by previous exertions and you would therefore not make the ideal drafting partner to stay ahead of Paul. I think the best case scenario for us would if we were both on better form and due to Pauls restart if we could have drafted the whole race we could have maybe stayed ahead on the road. There's always Saturday to give that a go if you like. having said that I was pushing to the max last night and not sure I can go as quick again tomorrow. I will try though, and then there's always the possibility of another Sunday mountain goat session for me to feel totally dejected and humiliated again :becool:

You know Bill, I felt confident, in fact confident enough to take a lazyish start and then sprint a few times to warm up and get the muscles going. I thought all i have to do is repeat tuesdays effort, run at 40 to 55kmh depending on gradient averaging 50 and i would catch and then stay with you both. That might be why you think i was toying. But something happened on that first steep part, not just the grinding to a halt, struggling through the gears, remembering to turn the fan on etc and it was suddenly as if i was treading treacle, struggling to get the watts. I pushed through but and at the next dead stop you were gone...
I have a theory I am going to test tomorrow when, if i have legs and lungs i will try and oblige with the drafting and we can chase bridgy or his ghost and see what happens. Forget the goat ride, lets catch that bugger, sorry, I meant bridgy^_^
