I took it easy .. honest. I balls up the start, lost time there. Caught up Jim and tried to draft at a nice pace but that course didn't really help. So went off after Randy, which in hindsight was possibly a little more energetic than I'd planned. Practiced a bit of hill sprinting and cruising on the flats and descents. Well done though @Randyberlin - I thought you might have struggled on the last hill but you chased hardAh ha in a flash of brilliance I made my phone a hot spot and hey presto good as gold. Sadly you had all chuffed off up the road by the time I got in and I didn't see much evidence of taking it easy.
At least I now know what to do when it all cocks up, wonder how much data I get......
Yep - 5 o'clock - this time I promise to let it run the full 10 minutesNo it's not the handicap ride tomorrow. Its the Mountain goats. You starting it as usual @Whorty

Couple of things.
1. What idiot planted the Whiskey suggestion in my mind Yesterday. HID drifted off to sleep on the sofa last night so I just carried on doing stuff and drinking my weekly treat of a bottle of red but her highness was still in the land of nod when I finished it so I dug out what was left of a bottle of Dalwhinnie from Christmas last year. Had to get up at 7 this morning as well. Add that to the aching legs from working on the car all day Friday and I was well wrecked this morning.
2. I was going to take it easy tonight and just spin my legs a bit but I saw Bob trailing so I was trying to lead him across to the front group. Strange that Bob as you felt you were helping me.
3. Guessed you had and issue though Bob when you suddenly dropped back so I gave it my all on the next bits of climbs to catch up with the others and give Bridgy a hand helping the other two.
4. I was pretty puffed when I got to them but got some respite on some of the descents.
5. It was hard work trying to judge what power others needed you to pull and it appeared that we all had slightly different reactions to slope changes. I seem to have a longer delay than others regarding resistance onset going into climbs and the opposite coming out of them. I am going to try and sync my PC Clock with BSim to see if that makes a difference.
6. I had one sudden dead stop when I was backing of having got too far ahead of TT and he then shot past me. I was trying my hardest to get you back to Bill TT before the top of the climb butt it just was not happening, well done though.
6. All in all a jolly good ride today though but my legs are still damn stiff.
Well done everyone who did that ride and bad luck soarer. Maybe it's your power plug that's knackered? Bob said he's been through a few of them.
If it wasn't for AAAC dragging me up the last hill I'd of needed a helicopter rescue, so much appreciated mate!
I tried my hardest to stay with you Bill. I was trying to soften you up a little to be honest. Accelerating over the tops of the hills, to get a gap on the downhill, knowing I have the momentum advantage shall we say, and hoping it would knacker you trying to bridge the gap. But by the end it was me hanging on and you dumped me good and proper on that last hill. Very strong bud.
Bridgy you just seem to have another gear you can find at will!
It's one of those courses. Doesn't matter what time you do it in. It's bloody knackering!
@LBHIFI That's some ride you put in!
How the heck did you manage to go so fast?
Not as impressive as @Monte 's 737 kilometres!!I like my 0.81 watts per kg, thanks Bill

In 1 hour and two minutes which is roughly 713 kph. No wonder we didn't see him go past but I heard the boom.
Well I didn't really hear the boom as that happens at 1,236 kph
Bill, I just switched to a race tire and tube. My Bepros said the same as Thursdays ride: 280 watt.@LBHIFI That's some ride you put in!

Bill, I just switched to a race tire and tube. My Bepros said the same as Thursdays ride: 280 watt.
I looked at the screen for the whole ride this time, so I probably was a little bit more efficient, pushing harder on hills/relaxing more on descents.
