Hi all

I've put in a request to join the CC groups on Bkool - interested in joining in with some of the group sessions, if that's ok.
User name: marino.g
Slight calf injury at the moment though caused by a Bkool session  so hopefully will join in when fit to pedal. :bicycle:
You have an injury / excuse you will fit in perfectly

Walking wounded this forum
I wouldn't have enough time to go through all my ailments, but I'll struggle on this afternoon on Goat 4. It wouldn't be fair to @Monte to not give him something to beat later ;) This cold weather plays havoc with my arthritis and gout in my big toe, but I don't like to make excuses  I worked a bit harder than planned on the chaingang yesterday too, so I won't have the same ability on the Goat later :heat: But, you know, can't complain

6 seconds Bill!!!

It's a good thing I'm not a sore looser isn't it....

aaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I'm off to find a cat to kick.

Totally didn't expect that Tommy. Maybe a good thing as it might be my last chance unless I can up my game somehow. You'll be happy to know you did make me suffer considerably in every one of those races.
It's not over quite yet of course ;)

@Whorty

I'll raise you, on a good day I can only stand for 10mins and the list of drugs I need to take to keep the ailments you list at bay.

Starts drawing dusty bow over old fiddle
Drugs? Drugs!! Are you using the TUE rules to get an advantage?!? You'll be claiming you have asthma next :headshake:

I'm a trouper, don't resort to drugs. I live with the pain as I don't like to complain

Ha! It's over mate, best man won too :okay:

When the dust settles I only got a better time on you on the West Lothian course, just it was by 2:30 so it made it close overall. I could try and shave 6 seconds off somewhere else, but if you had another crack at West Lothian you could probably return the favour so...

I can't believe it's so close after 3 hours of racing. It does make me happy to know that you suffered considerably, coz the feelings mutual! ^_^ I don't know how much harder I can push myself but I'm going to find out. It's the only way I can get close to you lot!

It may be over Tommy but I fear you're only going to get stronger from here. Could be a few less hills in the next league too which may help your case against the lighter guys.
Like you say, 6 seconds in a three hour race is very close racing and really what we're trying to achieve here for maximum fun. As for pushing harder, in my case I think there's no way! Maybe get lighter and fitter though.
Oh joy! Mountain goat ride in half an hour.
