Any theories on why?

Rolling resistance? Same reason as narrow tyres at high pressure are preferable on the velodrome, I'd have thought. (That's an entirely non-science based guess though.)

You have the fastest time due to either alphabetical reasons, or because you did the ride first! Not sure I've ever seen a completely identical time like that before
I have done a ride with the same time some time ago but that was against a ghost. It may have even been @LBHIFI from what I remember...

I'm on the latest software but not the latest firmware - my Bkool Pro is one of the older pre-FE-C models, and because I've not used it for ages, it's not had any updates.

Thing is, it won't update the firmware through the latest version of the sim, but fortunately I have the old version still installed on another computer. So I tried to update it the other day (mainly so I could use Zwift, tbh) but it kept timing out before the update was completed. Very annoying.

Hell yeah - I know I had a damn good workout last night even if the numbers suggest otherwise!

I found best way to "update" was to uninstall bsim, reboot and then download and install latest.

Yeah, well done Andy:okay:. You and Bridgy were just to strong this time. Bill almost got me at the end too, but digged deep to find the last resources.
Fantastic comeback Bill:notworthy:.

Thanks Lars. I felt like I had a bit left in the tank near the end and decided to try and make the jump over to you. I didn't think there'd be much point in trying to sneak up on you as you would just react (I've turbo'd with you long enough to know that there will be a reaction and it'll be difficult to predict what that reaction will be) so I decided to try and catch you using full power and hope that I had some left for a fight to the line. Anyway, as I approached from behind thinking I'd tuck in behind for a rest before the sprint to the line, you powered off so I passed you and didn't get my much needed rest. You then sprinted past me too quick for me to catch your slipsteam and you were 4 or 5 seconds ahead before I could make another attempt.. Anyway, with much effort I hauled you in again and exactly the same thing happened. I was probably too tired at that point to anticipate your moves, so again you powered off and left me to the strong headwind for a few seconds before you blasted past me again. This time I was finished and happy to come in behind you. You always have been very tactical Lars and it usually seems to work for you. You got the better of me yet again:thumbsup:.
I am looking forward to Saturday though :okay:;)

Bill, Lars, Bob, AAAC - we're in danger of being relegated to Team Red at this rate when TTT season comes round!

 I think I came to terms with this a few weeks ago.

It could be more fun that ever though :hyper:

Beasted it Daddypig well done mate!

The power you can pump out is insane :notworthy:
I think it comes down to big quads built up from dragging an overweight :mrpig: around. I'm just trying to get the rest of my body to catch up! Stamina has always been an issue but using bkool has been great training... I'm still left far behind on long steep climbs though...

I've decided to actually do some proper training for my cycling. Does anyone know any good books and are there any plans available for the bkool? I already have the Lance Armstrong book although I have to take that with a pinch of salt (or is that EPO?)

I've spent quite a bit of time this year trying to find a decent training plan for the winter. British cycling have quite a few which are all professionally prepared and seem pretty sensible. Zwift also has built in plans all based on FTP which are good. Bkool has added training sessions but no structured plans so far.
