Went to hawaii in the 90's and found an 'irish' bar in Waikiki. HID had been to the zoo in the morning and had found a little place to quench our thirst. We both asked for a pint of the black stuff. Half way through some of the locals asked what it tasted like! Apparently only tourists came in and drank guinness - everyone else drank lagerI remember being so peeved getting posted to Germany because Guinness did not travel (then) and anyone selling Guinness from the tap there had no idea.
Then I found an Irish Bar in Dusseldorf run by an Irishman and it was heaven. We were only there for a day but luckily he had a B&B/Hotel next door, good man!
We ended up saying there most of the afternoon and headed to an indian restaurant afterwards (that's a whole other story)

. I was trying to see if I could get through stage two with a 52T in front. Front gear shift is very unreliable with the 52T, so I try to avoid that. Almost didn't make it over that 11%, stuck in a silly heavy gear.
