give it a few hours it'll show up in time
i've never sweated so much i had to change towels half way, then i switched the heating off as it was far to warm

Haha! Completely opposite for me, well not the sweating which was copious. Although my loft was not as cold as yesterday I kept getting really cold with the fan on it's lowest setting and had to keep turning it off for the downhills!

New Year's Eve is getting in the way of the Chain Gang rerun tomorrow, so I'll be doing it around noon tomorrow instead.

Tommy, thanks for organising these Christmas rides. My legs and lower back may be sore but I know it's all good for me. Indeed strava says 157 miles so far this week so not to shabby. And there may be more to come? I just need to stock up on bananas/snickers/jelly babies. I only had 4 Bourbon biscuits during today's ride and was feeling pretty wiped towards the end so I particularly enjoyed my post ride chocolate milk!

Hi Jim.

It's not showing up in rides to be approved so looks like you haven't done your dummy ride from the leagues tab. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do with it unless it's a league ride so I'll need to ask you to do it again. 10 seconds would be fine.

Hi Bill

All done again if you'd do the honours please?

Cheers

Jim

You guys take a picnic on these rides  I had a banana just before the ride, and an everton mint with about 10k to go. I only managed to drink one bottle of water which, by the end, had gone and I was getting a bit dehydrated. Had that ride been longer I'd have been in trouble

11 stone some thing
Ah, that explains why on the downs today I was not pedaling very hard but still pulling away from you ... the extra few stones I carry make the downs easier than the ups  I was trying to let you catch up so we could draft but it's really hard to get drafting working on declines.

No problem at all to organise the rides. It's great motivation to have the company and it's no effort at all to choose a course.

Does anyone have a preference to the kind of rides we do? Unless you guys object I'm most likely going to continue getting to roughly halfway then upping the pace as it's giving me a really good work out but I'm aware this isn't really very team spirited...alternatively I could pick out a slightly shorter ride (kipster put one up). And then do another ride at a faster pace afterwards.
