Did you not see the bit about Euro2m

You old cynic AAAC! ^_^

I’m sure they’ll do it for the love of the sport! The same reason we go to work every morning right? :heat:

I've just had a go on my Bkool Smart Pro 2 trainer. I've found the app to be very unintuitive, the ANT+ only seemed to partially work for 27 miles of the Chicago Lakefront Trail activity before losing connection to the tablet, but from what I did experience it was superb, changing elevation smoothly with the video of the ride which matched my speed.

Also, can't seem to add a picture to my Bkool profile, uploading a pic just leads me to a resize screen which has a blank box in it.

Got a few things to figure out with it, but the actual riding was superb.

Welcome aboard, you have so much to learn, but it's good to hear praises.
We tend to forget how neat it is to be able to ride in a virtual world and instead concentrate on some of the niggles.
I hope you enjoy your BKool experience even more when you get into the live rides.

The picture thing is just one of those niggles.
It works fine on a laptop.
The ANT+ could be a range of things but it is best to have a USB extension as get the ANT+ dongle low and close to the turbo.
The other one is interference from BT devices like remote keyboards, phones or even WFI.
Thats why tit is good to get the ANT+ dongle close up.

Had a look at the picture thing and you might be missing the final step to save or cancel the selected upload down in the left hand corner when your selected picture is showing.

Oh I've been scratching (or rather banging) my head over some of the niggles, and feel I have much to learn with this thing, but I already know I'm going to love using it!

I do wonder why the dongle needs to be so close though, is it an issue with the transmitter Bkool uses or the dongle itself? I only wonder as Garmins Ant+ stuff (and the cadence speed sensors) all broadcast and receive Ant+ with no need for up close and personal positioning.

Also, the first time I paired I had two Bkool trainers coming up on the list....I'm guessing one was Bluetooth connection and one Ant+? I could only connect to one of them at a time.

That’s right. One will be ant+ the other Bluetooth. I found I needed th extension with ant+ or there was a risk of losing signal. But Bluetooth always works perfectly.

Hi all.

I've deleted the LeJog league (Stages 1-15) due to it being buggered up with iggledy piggledy dates and schedules etc.. I have re-done it with the link here: http://www.bkool.com/classification/showIndividualLeagueClassification/2785 which I hope works better. Please feel free to join again.

The start dates are staggered throughout December and complete in March. I will upload Group/Stages 15-30 later. It should all now schedule properly and chronological. Please accept my aperlogies..apologenics..apliances... I'm sorry.

Well done Jim. By now you'll be almost an expert in setting up leagues. I don't know if you needed to delete the group to delete the league but what you've done obviously worked and its very easy to re-join the group. Looks like its all set up nice and in order and because I have a lot of time off in December I might try to do them as they appear. Definitely looking forward to this league and am wondering how competitive it'll become. I'm guessing my initial thoughts of doing itt to put in the miles will soon be out the window and I'll be looking at that leaderboard instead:gun:.

Tonight at 7pm is the Chain Gang stage 5 live. Any new riders please join the ride by searching for Bill S (at about 7:01) in the filter and you'll know you're in the right place if you see some of us usual suspects there. Warmup is the usual 10 mins. No ghosts this time as they are only a distraction until bkool get their act together.
