Good work all who took part![]()
Thanks Bill. Planning to be there Saturday, but not hopeful of getting anywhere near your times tonight - you guys were working so well together, and so strong you even dropped Brusgaard ... the Danes must be nervous now of the Nations CupHope your Mrs is ok Carl, and hope to see you on Saturday.

The starts are always manic. You need to be able to hold a big power for 3-4 mins minimum then hang on to the tails of others to recover before getting into the race proper. If you get dropped in that first launch it's hard to get back on again unless you have someone to work with. You did well tonight though to catch Brusgaard up, he was working really hard to try and get back to Bill's group.Well ridden the first three, especially Aleman, your effort to get over to the leading group was immense. I thought we might work together early on to bridge to them, but when you put the power down I couldn't stay with you. The guys really do go hell for leather at the start.... Something else I need to work on, though I did manage to draught myself for which apparently I owe myself a , once I work out who's paying! Thanks again for the fun?!
You put massive power out to catch them up, but then kept the power on to get a gap of about 30 seconds. Crazy speed, but probably put you too far in the red. If you had just jumped on their wheel initially and kept something back you may have had enough to break away towards the end. As a spectator, it was great to watch you guys slugging it out
Not good. I did wonder why you was so far back. I wonder if there is sometimes a conflict when switching between Zwift and Bkool - I've certainly had trouble in the past and had to reboot the laptop to get it to work properly - seemed to be a confusion on the ant+ sideThat was a frustrating return to bkool after mostly playing on Zwift recently. It was glitchy from the start and took about 10 minutes for me to even get going for a warmup in the velodrome. Then it froze as the clock went to zero and I was stuck on the line on my own (not a false start). I kept pedalling hard but when it eventually decided to let me move the front guys were long gone so it was just a solo ride the whole way. I don't know whether the time I was stuck on the line will be counted towards my time or not...

I haven't used Zwift for a couple of days and the laptop's been switched off and the trainer turned off at the plug since then. Didn't appear to have any problems connecting the trainer by ant+Yes when I switch I always have to re pair and most times have to reboot.
