Will we actually need a password for this one @BILL S - as it's not a session that's part of a league, no one can inadvertently start the specific stage you're going to start at 6.50pm can they?

Another thought - as you're going to be leaving the route after it starts I'm not sure if the usual tactic of searching for "Bill" in nickname will work, so for clarity is the name of the route we're looking for Stouby Sejet?

Current handicaps (subject to adjustment so please check back here)

Anyone else want to join? @bobinski, @CXRAndy or any other reluctant bkoolers fancy a go at the handicap? The Handicap is a great leveller for non-Bkool turbos! ;)

I doubt I can make it for 7 tonight due to work issues unfortunately - much as it pains me to give up that first-off-the-line position.

Thanks for this Geoff. Do you suggest we publish the password now or wait until just before?

Publish and be damned!

I think a password is important for a Handicap chase, as otherwise people enter without a handicap and it can spoil the fun of being first for those who have not otherwise experienced it!

Yep, should be Stouby Sejet

True about the password Paul, but having random riders joining could be quite a distraction so I think a password might be best. The usual one : chase
Regarding your second point, it will be Stouby Sejet but there may be other Stouby Sejet's running so not sure how people will be sure to be in the right one without looking at who's out on track. Would I be right in thinking it could be searched for by using any of the riders who's joined, in which case we can search for one of the names on the list who's an early starter?

Fair point about the password Bill and Geoff - but at least it won't matter that you've published it now!

If not sure if you've got the right Stouby Sejet, you can click on "cyclists" (top, middle) when you've chosen the route and see if there's any names you recognise. Unless someone starts exactly the same route at pretty much the same time, the time elapsed should also give it away - plus the fact that it's a password protected ride, as most won't be

@gbrown I just tried opening the Sim on my wife's account which is not a premium account and it wouldn't even let me spectate - I had to choose between a 7 day or 30 day free trial (bit of a no brainer that one!) So it might be worth you checking whether you need to set up a free trial in order to spectate/record the race later?

You have company so if I don't bridge across to @Aleman you will be fine. If we get together though..... Could be a good chase :bicycle::bicycle:

You're expecting me to hold people off after doing 73 miles and 7000+ feet of ascent at the weekend ?? Although If I get the Magic Fairy Dust like I did on Santa Fe De Montseny You'll need rocket assist to catch me.

Good answer Paul. pretty much solves any problems any of us would have finding the correct ride.

Well if I have to work hard and team up with @humphuk and @Del C to keep you at bay... so be it...:becool:

I have however, shared emails with Bkool today regarding their inconsistent offering, and which has left me sad and emotional - It’s not quite a dodgy knee or asthma but it may lead to a poorer than usual performance..:shy:

I fear the decree nisi is imminent.. :okay:

@humphuk well and truly smashed me on NC2 and @Del C always gives me a good run for my money, so even in your darkened state so long as you can work with them I can't see me catching you. But I'll give it a bloody good try

One last hoorah in bkool before we turn the light off and close the door
