Are you sure you want a taste of real power

@CXRAndy are you joining us for the handicap tonight? If so, need to work out where to start you...

I have set up a race on rouvy to test it: I have added @JJRobinson and @Breedon , hopefully you will get notifications through rouvy. @bridgy i couldn't find your username so didn't add you but please join as the more the better. The race is under my name and the password is chase, as i know we are all bears of little brain. I have scheduled it for 18:30 Uk time on Thursday and it will be a gentle group ride, rather than a race to test out the functionality, drafting, view of other racers, etc etc and i though it could serve as a warm up for the main event hopefully stating on bkool at 19:00. If anybody else wants to join us that would be great too, the more I investigate the more it seems this might be the replacement platform for us.....give it a go, it's free for two weeks.

@gbrown sorry to be a pain, but am I right in thinking i should find the live race this evening via the name and then sign in with the password chase, at about 20:08 and then sit for a couple of minutes until the elapsed time is 10:45 (my handicap) and then go like the clappers to try to catch @peterob and then ease for @BILL S to catch us (as per our tactics) and then try to hold off the thundering @AAAC 76C and @bridgy juggernaut as it bears down on us before crushing us unmercifully under its frantically spinning wheels. Not that I'm pessimistic about this at all!

Current handicaps (subject to adjustment so please check back here)

Anyone else want to join? @bobinski, @CXRAndy or any other reluctant bkoolers fancy a go at the handicap? The Handicap is a great leveller for non-Bkool turbos! ;)

Thanks Geoff! That means I have to catch up @AAAC 76C and @bridgy who are bound to team up! And @TurboTommy said he's not coming out to play tonight....
No sympathy for the injured then...

Edit... and I forgot to mention I'm a big fat piggy! :mrpig:

Well if I have to work hard and team up with @humphuk and @Del C to keep you at bay... so be it...:becool:

@humphuk well and truly smashed me on NC2 and @Del C always gives me a good run for my money, so even in your darkened state so long as you can work with them I can't see me catching you. But I'll give it a bloody good try

The only possible flaw here is me getting the start time right on my handicap debut!

It is best if you join at exactly your starting time, and pedalling, but it does require very precise timing to avoid being late so is best practised. Otherwise, join a little early without pedalling and then start pedalling on your start time.

How long does it take to join from entering the password... and will it cock everything up like before by testing the password and leaving?

Hi Keithy, I’ve downloaded it but not signed up yet. I’ll sort it by Thursday and if you’re bimbling, I’d like to join. If you need to step on it to meet later commitments, feel free to leave me.

I will rejoin tomorrow but will struggle to make 6-30 Thursday- a touch too early for me.
