What a pain, as it is a much better way of starting - but unless we can find a way of easily getting the moving time it's obviously not much use for setting handicaps for a re-run.
What does work is Strava, as there's a Strava segment set up which covers the whole stage but must start just after the line. Based on that my time was 28.48. Not everyone's on Strava though so still not completely helpful!
Not one to complain, but the middle is a repeat of the end
My session main time on Bkool is 39.30 so minus the 10.50 that gives 28.40 - 2 seconds ahead of you which is correct. Strava is out by 8 seconds for whatever reason. My Session 'Main' time was 39:32 in my home page ride stats which is what it said when I crossed the line
I started at 10:50 with Bridgy so my time was 28:32 plus 10 seconds = 28:42
Bridgy and Bill bested me on the finish line by 2 seconds and Bridgy left the start line before me bu no 6 seconds.
Regardless my handicap should be no more than Bridgy's next week because he beat me to the line.
My plan all along was to try and drag as many folk with then to reduce their handicaps so that Bridgy and I can take it a bit easier next time.
I don't know if you all noticed but we always slowed when approaching you to give you a chance to latch on so next time you see the train coming stoke up your boiler in readiness.

YesIs that time from Strava?
the only problem there is that your sat for whatever your handicap is waiting, getting cold. I'm sure with out collective brainpower we can come up with the solution to this, so we can all start in the correct order, the correct amount of time apart and get the actual moving times for future handicaps. To be honest for me , though I've never been in at the death, I think the time on the course isn't important, if we get the start right it's the positions that count and trying to catch or keep away from others in the chase.I think the best way to do this may be to join the session before 19:00 but do not pedal until your start time then your moving time in your session summary under Main will be correct.

So, if we all start from within the warmup, and if we all start after the correct amount of handicap time, we can pretty easily work out our correct moving times. (A couple of reasonably big "ifs" in there unfortunately knowing us lot!!)
Agree with that so long as everyone is in the know to join before 19:00 (did I say 17:00 before?) and set off on or after your handicap time taken from the session elapsed time in the bottom left.
If you start late it is your loss but you will get a better handicap next time.
If you start early you should still be accredited with you moving time - official start time and you will get a worse handicap next time.

I tried to get a draft going with both you and Aleman, but my watts were just all over. Every change of slope held a new "watt-surprise". Sometimes 50 watts over, then 50 watts underA bit soul destroying to see people shoot past at lightening speeds. I had forgotten about that
I waited for and tried to hold Lars wheel but any easing and he shot past and so needed 300w plus to stay with him and then I would overshoot and then he just shot past! Interesting to know what watts he put down then. I was never the best bkool drafter and perhaps I just didn’t recognise it but it didn’t seem to. Power needs on gradient changes are so different to Zwift and will take some getting used to again.
So, 3 more goes for me over next 4 weeks and hopefully I will finish a handicap race
Well done all!
