hid knows me way better than that, I've told her not to wait to eat dinner, as I may not be finished before breakfast!
Yup I told mine the same. and that I may not feel like dinner (as is sometimes the case) after a ride like this.

Not quite sure what to do about tyre pressure with this one because if it's hard for the flats it'll be slipping on that steep hill. Could be a case of getting off at the bottom of the hill and letting it down to 80 or 90 psi.

oh bill you super pro you, just like them swapping bikes on a hilly TT only a little more low tech! I think I'll go at 130 psi and use it as an excuse if it goes pear shaped, the ride not the tyre!

Not able to make NCQ4 tonight - but looking at it I'm not too down about that! Good luck to all who tackle it :okay:. I may drop in as a spectator later to watch the suffering if I can.

I did NCQ3 earlier. Not sure if I was getting the fairy dust or not but I was all set to post a stellar time when the signal dropped out. Got it going again and recovered to finish with a respectable 39:32. I'll have a look at creating a private wifi on my access point just to use for BKool to see if that stabilises things.

I've never experienced problems on BKool with speed or response, but I have with Zwift a few times, most notably early in a session and when there are lots of other riders about. Wife uses Netflix a lot and most times she'll be watching something while I ride and this doesn't really impact either way.

We have good broadband here, and even when Zwift is playing up our broadband still has capacity so I think the lag is their end. As soon as I get to parts of the course with less riders close by (usually the hills) Zwift stops being jumpy and smooths out.

Yeah it's a tough climb - worse in real life, but worth it for the views of the Somerset levels from the top

The descent of Cheddar Gorge is good too

I remember that cheeky uphill bit Aleman mentions in the last few hundred meters from when we rode this before - doesn't exist in real life, it's just a little extra bonus hill Bkool have invented for us!
Looks like horseshoe bend buttress to me...
I've done a few of the climbs around there in my youth. A friend almost gave a bloke a new sunroof... let's just say the rock can be a bit loose... fun going down on a bike mind!

Yeah, sorry TB, had an issue that made me bail (and no, not because I was too tired ;) ). It is a nasty route though. I'll have to have a go on Saturday again.

You did well holding me off. I was going a decent watts and not making much inroads into your lead. I think the downhill at the end you'd have held me off easily :okay:
