That sucks.

@Brusgaard are you on vacation?
Yes a couple of days away with the family. Should return sometime tomorrow afternoon.

If it is a cry for help regarding @Mark68’s problem, I’m pretty sure all is lost if he didn’t get to the save session screen.

If he did however, it saves the file locally and tries to upload. If upload fails, it will try to upload next time you login.

Oh no. I don’t care about Mark’s ride I just missed seeing you in the VR world and on here.
Actually what made me think of you was my wife brought home a watermelon and now every time we have watermelon I think of your company party.

I tried Birdsall last night but @Mark68 sprinted up that first hill and I melted trying to keep up so binned it, today different approach, let Mark go then reel him in on the way down.

Great route Mark, that'll hurt if we race over it. Actually I didn't mind the telemetry except to see your HR really low

I think my HR will be higher now. 😓

I see you beat me by over 3 minutes. Well done, great ride:bicycle:

That blue car joining from the left pulling up to the junction and braking late - always makes me nervous.
Glad you liked it. Currently rendering a video that takes in an hour of my glorious countryside with a great decent into Thixendale. Currently 6gb but will try and compress it to work.

That program is on bbc 2 so should be on catch up if you are interested.

Looks like I will have to challenge someone 😅 on my local ride, but don't think I will beat you.

I'm looking for a new y trainer and have pretty much decided on the kickr core. Any opinions, or reasons i should buy something else instead?
Bought a refurbished kickr v4 in March and have had no issues with it. Lot harder than the bkool Go. Went from category pro 1 to active 2 although have got back up to active 7 which seems more realistic and the power matches my crank power meter quite well. You might not notice as much difference if the gradient limit is similar to your present trainer. Not tried any other smart trainers so can't really comment on them.

I had been waiting on the Saris hammer 3 that has been on back order for a while. Last Monday I gave up and ordered the Neo T2. It will be here next Thursday. At my level of riding it is overkill. The only reason I bought it is because of my weight the BKOOL Pro can’t simulate enough resistance so changes my cadence and speed going up hills. I used a company over here called bike tires direct and because of my gold status paid $1259 and got $125 in store credit. I now have $250 burning a hole in my pocket. Now my only decision is which cassette to put on it.

From experience with my kickr upgrade from the bkool, go with the biggest rear cog your deraileur will cope with. I even put on a hanger extender to up the rear to an 11/40 or 42.

Your knees will thank you 😉

Hope everything is OK with you. Just taking time off.
Sorry I have been AWOL socialy as well.
Whilst I was waiting for my final test I have been digging out blind with DIY afforded by the lack of other spending because of C19
Well the final test will not be happening so in the next couple of weeks I should be back in the fold.

I see the SIM is about to change again as well.
