Don't think you can change it. Bkool will have to sort that one i fear.I have just joined Bkool and have only been on a couple of rides but it has put me in Elite 4 due to a problem with the Wattage calculation.
How do I change it to a realistic rating? also how do I join a group?
I like the idea of a Mario cart type setup myself....red shell take thatNice to have had you on board for the race. Feel free to sign up for the leagues if it suits you to do it most Thursdays!
Some of the guys were talking about different trainers behaving very differently than Bkools own trainers. not exactly an even playing field. maybe email Bkool to see if they can program weapons into the gameplay.call of Duty on Bikes!
What trainer do you have? I had this issue but only when going downhill. It appeared to be a function of my weight, the grade of slope and the acceleration I generated. For some reason it did not like it and booted me out. It was repeatable, same point on the same sessions.1st race on Bkool last night (Ciaran). Good fun. Was going well but then got "do you want to finish" message for about 5 mins. I kept going but seemed to not move ie. miles covered stayed same for the 5 mins. Is this normal? I assume this affected my finish time as when it eventually reconnected several other riders had gone past me. ant comments/advise welcome. Thanks
I have a friend that uses a tacx vortex, and his trainer is certainly a lot easier on the climbs than a bkool - for a start the max incline the tacx vortex reaches is 7% so anything above that the resistance doesn't change.

I've tried the speed and trainer pairing and it will not allow it. I think there is info from the trainer that the software uses to control the trainer.I'm waiting on one from amazon so will try that to resolve. One question - when I try to pair my sensors it searches and finds the trainer, my garmin HRM, garmin cadence, and garmin speed sensor (on rear hub). I then tick the boxes to pair but it wont let me pair the trainer and the speed sensor together i.e. if I tick one the other becomes unticked (no problem with the cadence and HRM.) Is there a reason for this?
Well I've eventually finished tonight's event. Who was it that said there were two mounds in the middle to test us Moose's. The rises near the start and finish are what I would call mounds. I was waiting for the broom waggon on those two chunks in the middle but it never came, so I had to plough on. It's the first time I've spent more than an hour on the trainer in one go, and boy am I feeling it. In a sad sort of way I quite enjoyed it - the only way is up from here, no matter how slowly I manage it.
Am I right in thinking, those who don't comp!ete the stage will get 5% added to my time in the League standings - if so, surely there's an incentive there to get on their 'bikes'.
Cheers Dave
just do a Fitness test And it will put u down to your actual Fitness Level ..I have just joined Bkool and have only been on a couple of rides but it has put me in Elite 4 due to a problem with the Wattage calculation.

Would you be Dan Hanson by any chance?
Really? Even here in flat denmark, I often reach 65 kph on the small hills we have here. But I am shocked by the downhill sections, you guys run at 65-70Kph or more like nothing and I would never reach that in the real world except for a couple of seconds and only drifting after a while. In the trainer, I can barely keep 40kph on downhills. So I guess I'll stick to the guns plan.
I guessed that but I've read that a separate speed sensor is more accurate than the trainer so there should be a way to pair it.
Well... it is not a simple as that, it depends on your speed and the watts that you are able to pump. Me, weighing 56 Kg and with FTP around 175watts, I cannot push the trainer beyond its braking power so going uphill 7% hurts and 10% hurts more. In my experience the trainer feels rather similar to the real world in terms of the effort it takes to climb unless you try to go Alpe d'Huez, tourmalet, etc. But I am shocked by the downhill sections, you guys run at 65-70Kph or more like nothing and I would never reach that in the real world except for a couple of seconds and only drifting after a while. I believe if you challenge someone from the league tab you will have their ghost on your ride.In the league rides, is there a way to have ghosts of other members attempts and still have the ride recognised as a league attempt?
Gets a bit lonely sometimes out there in the dark on those hills!
Thanks

As boxers says- that gives you one ghost to chase - unless they got their time from challenging someone else which means that ghost is there too. Plus recently someone else posted that if you go to the league listings and click on the copy button of the active stage it schedules the ride for you. Go to scheduled rides and click setup and add ghosts (I think that's the way of it, off the top of my head anyway! )I believe if you challenge someone from the league tab you will have their ghost on your ride.
