I'll be there too. Done high miles on the turbo this week so probably won't be very strong. Definitely looking for a slipstream partner

Well, just did a watt comparison with some Garmin Vectors, and the result was somewhat depressing.
Bkool showed about 30 watt more on climbs (was kind of expecting that), but showed the same 30 watt to much on flats (Whaaat the ...).
So maybe it is me who need fixing:B).
However, this was with an entirely new setup (New bike with another tire and new PC) and I did notice that it was a lot easier to hit 300 watt on flat sections, so still a little hope.

The Vectors can be very problematic if not installed correctly. There have been reports of +/- 50 watt swings if they are not torqued down correctly. I have re-mounted my vectors twice because of this.

My vectors now show about 10-20 watt difference depending on the sessions grades. Bkool shows a higher power level in most situations. On the flat and down hill about 10-20 watts higher, up hill about 0-10 watts higher. It is a consistent difference, it was the same before the firmware upgrade, so I am not too worried about it.

Hopefully! Seriously wasnt sure wether to include them as it could give an advantage over the Thursday night contenders, but I suppose there's nothing to stop anyone challenging a previous time, rerunning the course and beating previous times (eh Bill!)

Would love to get my hands on powermeter to see how far out mine is. Was mocked by a work colleague when I said I could do 300 Watts for an hour on my Bkool - apparently that was what was needed to achieve the hour record a few years back!! I told him I knew it wasn't accurate but I'd really like to know how inaccurate it is!
