I kicked myself off! Clearly something not quite right tonight. The first session was too easy. Restarted and still too easy. logged out and back in felt much better but obviously still not right. I beasted myself but I'm not that fast! Disappointed I was up for a good race tonight.

I guessed that something was wrong - you went past me like I was cycling backwards, lol...

You did seem a little fast, even for you, but you'd have been tough to beat anyway I'm sure even with your recent weight increase. Hopefully next time it'll be working better.

Wow that was tough. As usual I Lost my connection before the start and bkool just froze. Reboot and you lot had gone. So I gave chase again only to be confused by riders coming in the opposite direction. When did that start? And then after 10km I lost the connection completely but decided to keep going on my own. Nowhere near as much fun as being part of a big ride:sad: Finished in 1. 08.24 but not showing yet. Before then I managed to see Guy race pass me like a rocket not one but twice:ohmy::laugh:
Well done all especially LBHIFI followed very closely by Bill.
New gaming laptop arriving tomorrow and hopefully connection and bkool freezing issues at an end.

Yeah great ride kev just didn't have enough in the engine to stay with u at the end. Issues for a few people tonight guy went past me twice I figured either his internet was down or he had lapped me twice  also cadence meter playing right up rpm average was about 12  what gear was I in.

That was part of the spectator entertainment tonight. Imagining what the riders were thinking as Guy shot past :ohmy::laugh::bravo::notworthy:

Well done LB. You broke me in the end. It was a fun race as we both seem to have almost the exact same bkool superpower. I don't know how many times we swapped places but it felt like about 100.
Sorry Rick, I wanted to let you join in the fun but I couldn't let LB get away.

Edit: Did I imagine it or did you just go and do a Top100 climb straight away after that Lars :notworthy:

Yes, no kids to tuck in tonight, so I thought I would try to make the best of my newly gained freedom^_^.

Great race. I really think we worked well together for most of the race. I was hoping we could catch Guy, but at the rate he disappeared, I began to think that maybe he was back on the tandem pulling 700 watts.
Had some crisis along the way. Lost the chain twice, and with about 10 km to finish, I began to get the cramps in my right leg.

Sorry chaps, but I had to bail after 26.5 km. Hadn't eaten or drunk much today (busy at work!!) and ended up getting cramp in my calf. i tried to slow down a bit and ride it off, but as soon as I tried to put any power on again, cramp. Figured bailing rather than injury was the best option  Well done to everyone who raced tonight  What a great turnout

Better safe than sorry whorty there's always Saturday.

I though the exact same thing that Guy was on the tandem when he passed me the second time.
LB doing another climb right after that race is the cruelest psyche job you could do. Now we know the answer to what is the male equivalent of Dee Moralizer....It's L. B. HIfi.

Pretty pleased to get a time under 1:45. Thanks for the support during the ride. I saw Guy fly past me once. When he came second time, I thought, go on try and hang on to his tail, even for a short time. BIG mistake. It nearly killed me! I would have needed rockets up my ****. Great ride, lots of folk. Well done all.

By that was tough and I don't think I would have finished without the encouragement from RickB and Kipster in the team car at the back of the peleton. I really felt it and just pleased to finish.
Well done to everyone and thanks to Rick for setting it up.

Thanks all for the kind words.

League is coming near an end so will be drawing up a new one to see us to the end of the year.

Any suggestions for flattish courses will be welcomed.
Is everyone happy to finish on another epic or is it a bridge too far for some?
