Need a new nemesis!![]()
Not sure if my cramp was not eating and drinking today or just don't have the distance in my legs. For a Thursday evening it is a bit long for me anyhow, as I leave home in the morning before 7, get back home at 7 and straight on the bike. Food comes afterwards .... 1 hour is all my body can do. Weekends I can plan better. I'm happy bailing though as an hour is still a good workoutThanks all for the kind words.
League is coming near an end so will be drawing up a new one to see us to the end of the year.
Any suggestions for flattish courses will be welcomed.
Is everyone happy to finish on another epic or is it a bridge too far for some?
I didn't prepare so well.I think we are still nemesises Rick. I just prepared especially well for this ride:
1/ I did a special low power Mountain goat ride last night at 260 watts.
2/ I ate extra food today for the energy.
3/ I put 150 psi in my tyre
Yeah cheers Rick for the past weeks of painThanks all for the kind words.

I reduced mine tonight?
Thanks for the advice. I will blow it back up and have another go on Sat - assuming I stay of the beer lunch time. As for time out of the saddle - thats still a dream.Yes! Definitely. Especially for a fast ride like this. Much less so for a slow mountain climb. Friction against that roller is what you need to reduce unless you find it slipping on a steep uphill when you spend time out of the saddle.
Thanks all for the kind words.

Sorry for replying to my own post, feel free to insert the word "slow" wherever you feel appropriate in the above statement.Couldn't make it tonight anyone up for a live ride on Saturday afternoon?
It's a cheapo Continental Ultra sport 700X23C rated to 110psi I think. 150psi probably not a good idea out on the roads but on a turbo its smooth riding and what's the worst that could happen...150 psi ? What tyre are you using... I run at 110
