That is exactly why I said it was the worst excuse....if it was just walking round a showroom and picking one out it would be easy. My last one involved me knocking through to the utility and garage, rebuilding a different wall in the garage, getting the floors level with each other, moving ALL the plumbing, redoing all the electrics, new floors, new ceiling, re-plastering, fitting the kitchen, oh, and I was allowed to pay for it as well!!!!!

:notworthy:
Seriously, I can barely change a tyre and tube on a bike let all that diy carp. And I only call it carp coz I cannot do it.

Oh, but picking one and all the other bits and pieces is NOT easy;)

Bridgy,

I got a 13.6 second ride awaiting approval, I can add time to match your approximate finish time from the video (24 mins 56 seconds).

I don't suppose it will give you the ride back though.

Geoff

Thanks Geoff - that'll be from when I went back in to see if the ride was there to still be saved.

As my wife pointed out, my body knows I did it!

Lost a minute over my time yesterday . I started ok, but about 10 minutes in the legs just went pop :cursing:. Then most of the field went by and I could do nothing :surrender:

Still the good thing is I can complete sessions now :wahhey:. So I can start to build back what I lost in the last 2 months of illness and clogged up lungs

Well that went a little better than expected. Fitted a new tyre just before the ride and it was one I'd accidentally ordered as a 25 instead of a 23. never tried it before but straight away I could see the power readout was higher than usual and was able to keep it up longer. W/kg almost as high as LB's now.

Nor me. Frack. Yeah no idea if I caught you but 550 to try and do so. Closed my eyes coz of your Kit:tongue:
720 earlier trying to keep Bill away and if that doesn't work then what's the point:wacko::notworthy:
Kept an eye on cadence. Doesn't like sharp drops in power and even if turning pedals at 120-150w shows zero cadence for up to 4/5 secs.
Well done again all!

You do have a lot of fight in you though Bob. I needed quite a rest before I could come past and actually make it stick. Each time I rode past you normally you just came straight past me again.

OK, Official Handicap Chase results from 1st March 2016

These are the results assuming everyone started exactly at their start time (a few were really late).
Congratulations to Stuart, no idea how you improved by over 5 minutes, but your Handicap will be mullered for a future run...

Even harder to fathom is how Bill managed to drop nearly a minute from his already record time. :notworthy::bravo:

Also heading for a spinach abuse handicap adjustment is Soarerv8, making great progress! :training:

Dropping the three outliers, everyone finished within 3 minutes and 1 second!

Well done everyone. :wahhey::cheers:

I ended up using a 28mm wheel tonight after I lost a fight with my 23mm wheel whilst trying to sort my gears out! Beat my best time by about 5 minutes so I'm happy with that. @bobinski and @bridgy what sort of gearing are you guys running, you both absolutely flew past me!!

Bill I'm intrigued. Is the 25 width or depth?

Strange. I met a nameless rider midway. Must have been an englishman, he was driving in the left side of the road. As I passed him he slided in behind me, but seemed to continue sliding into the field:scratch:
