I'd definitely join you Adam but unfortunately my legs have both just fallen off... I've tried to lay with my belly on the saddle and peddle with my arms but I've now dislocated a shoulder too!

Sorry, just thought I'd put an early bid in for excuse of the day.

Morning chaps :cuppa:
Crap excuse, see you there at 8 too Tommy.

all by myselfff...dont wanna be all by myselfff any more.......Eric Carmens my best mate....

That was weird at the start. Got a good start but the countdown clock wouldnt go off the screen for ages & the picture was frozen. Gets worse..

Grollocks.......just got drafting with Bill after an age closing the gap (I know you waited Bill - ta).....graphics are going haywire with me/Bill jumping around each other and wont hold steady. I am thinking not good..its gonna crash...then it freezes then disconnects but reopens again and then bang....Bsim has stopped working pop up. Think its my shite graphics software on this laptop. Ride lost after about 15 minutes.

Re-opened the ride again - 19 minutes down to the last placed rider on the road....ok so the long scream starts again.....ho hum...cocking hill at the starts just as bad.....dead at the end but managed a burst of 500w at the end. Legs are ok but I havent ridden since Monday - shagged and early nights. All caught up with me.

Off to Mallorca with the boys next week for some bigger cocking hills....nay....mountains....

see you tomorrow for the re-run

We did get some good drafting going for a while though Mark. As you said, we were jumping around a lot at first which made it very hard but later it settled down and I actually though that with the distance in front of us and the guys in front not drafting that we had a chance of catching them if we could keep it going steady. I think if you had not had that starting problem and got near the front quickly then you'd find that drafting with 3 or 4 is easier and more effective than just 2. Quite possibly, because AAAC couldn't see the rest of us, if we had a drafting group of 3 or 4 up there with LB then we'd probably have got to the hill before AAAC (assuming ideal drafting conditions). Although I'm sure he'd have got us all back on the hill just before the end. Unfortunately that window of opportunity seems to have closed now that AAAC has renewed his subscription. Lets try to be with LB on Saturday if we can.

I think I remember someone discuss Hampshire?

He's in a different club to me, but still local to Basingstoke in Hampshire. He features near the top of the local TT results for the North Hants Road Club.

Sorry bud I'm defo out

The better halves out and I've got my evening already planned around Netflix and a Caribbean takeout. If I was drinking I'd offer to pop in just to throw some random encouragement / abuse at you but I'm off the booze so... Have a good 1! :bicycle:

I went with the gaming laptop nvidia card. As you would hope it runs bkool full detail etc. BUT doesn't like me doing a warm up ride in bkool and not finishing ride. Will hang requiring a reset. My much older Intel HD graphics laptop did not hang but that ran bkool over ethernet while this is having to do so 3 floors from wifi router. Have not yet got Electrickery in loft and power line extenders don't like extension cables. My long winded way of saying whatever you get I think bkool very sensitive and so sort Ethernet or wifi at same time.

My laptop is a i5 hp laptop. I don't run games or lots of programmes. It does have ssd hard drive for speed. My internet is slow at 3mb. It is reasonably stable with connection. Yesterday there were quite a few pauses in video and data., I just kept going and it caught up eventually.

Thanks ^_^. Don't even know how you digged that out. Maybe these things are easier if you are a premium member.

The built-in graphics in the Intel Core processors have proved sufficient in my case. Core i5 and up for laptops, and Core i3 and up for desktop.

Do you by any chance know which Core i5 version is in that laptop (and how much RAM you have)?
I have a pretty low-end version in mine, and it runs BSim fluently.
