What works?
I bought a dell Inspiron with a built in HDMI port for a little over $200 from Amazon and have never had a problem with the Bkool software hanging up.

Thanks ^_^. Don't even know how you digged that out. Maybe these things are easier if you are a premium member.
Not premium, but an IT geek. I found him in North Hants Strava club and saw his recent rides in Mallorca, checked the segment and as I follow you could see your time (under 'People I follow').

Have had significant words with my real life family for keeping me away from my Cyclechat family for the last couple of days. I think they now know their place and should there be any repeat of their shenanigans then they really don't want me to have to choose where my loyalties lie!

Have spent some time trying to think up my excuse and beyond being fat and slow couldn't think of anything that might get me out of is so I suspect I will be there as a rear guard. If any of the fatkins crew would care to join me in an amble they would be very welcome.

My laptop is a i5 hp laptop. I don't run games or lots of programmes. It does have ssd hard drive for speed. My internet is slow at 3mb. It is reasonably stable with connection. Yesterday there were quite a few pauses in video and data., I just kept going and it caught up eventually.
My laptop is ancient (6 years old) a Core 2 Duo processor, 256mb graphics card. It does have good wifi, and it has never failed to deliver on Bkool video or 3D, and its never kicked me out. It wont do Zwift though.

So are you going to have a go at Sa Calobra. Kipster just dug out the time to beat from Strava: 41:24 Sign to Sign

nah ..gonna skip that....

Yeah right.....does a bear shite in the woods. rat up a drainpipe mate. Wiggo holds the strava record....mind you he must have ridden it 100 times.
Last time I rode up colobra was 1995...only 21 years ago. I was 26 then and an 11 stone cat 1 roadie. It was the days before garmin but I do remember having a polar HRM on some pipe insulation on the handlebars and seeing over 200 bpm.

Might keep my garmin readouts private for fear of mass urine extraction on here......as if you would...

Anyone who is thinking of doing the Handicap session this evening, just be aware that it will not be a league run or anything, so normal filters won't find it. You can try Adski or Vuelta, that should find it ok.
Could be me and you Soarer at this rate.

That would probably be 10 minutes faster then?

fter last night and also seeing the excuses being put forth recently (some of them mine). I have decided I need to add to the collection of bikes with one that is guaranteed to help me improve my performance :bicycle:

I think this should help a bit ;)

I think I may have a struggle finding the cash though:cry:

Have you guys had that thing when you get overtaken going up a hill by a guy in non cycling gear who hardly seems to be trying? It's quite a relief when you realise he's on an electric bike... And quite demoralising if he isn't! :headshake:
