Geoff..can you build me a pc tower for permanent usage in the garage for bkool. Spec as you said....I have 32 '' flatscreen tv which I could use as a monitor as I struggle to see the riders names on the screen.

Function over form type of thing...wolf in sheeps clothing...

Possible?

My existing laptop is fine for everything I need it for away from Bkool. I dont need another one really.

It looks me and Geoff are the computer geeks in these parts.

It its just for Bkool keep the costs down to an i3 processor, get a 2gb graphics card and a small ssd and 8gb ram, budget case, good fan and over clock the processor.

But it will all come down to budget, is there a number in mind?

You started it 3 1/2 min early! Wtf! I hadn't even turned my fan on. I was still spinning low gears. Pedalled so frantically I gave myself a stitch. Had to ease off to shake it and then I thought I was either going to puke or poo! Really weird but as much as it hurt and felt pretty awful I just needed to push through. You kept coming at me and I know you are stronger on the climbs so thought it was only a matter of time but it levelled off in my favour. Lying on sofa legs shaking

I built myself one a few weeks ago (not for Bkool, for my business computer) which is well fast!

Skylake motherboard and unlocked i5 Skylake CPU, overclocked around 25% by increasing voltage and multiplier to 4.5 Ghz (still nice and stable)
16 GB of fast DDR4 memory (2666 Mhz)
Massive CPU heatsink and fan so almost silent, plus a zero rpm 850W power supply,
zero rpm Nvidia GTX960 with 4K outputs driving three 27" monitors

and best of all, an M.2 PCIe NVMe 20 Gbps Solid State Disk, which benchmarks 4 times faster than the fastest SSD I'd seen to that point!

Will one of those do?

Edit: As Kips says, any half decent desktop from the last few years will be fine so long as you put a moderately OK graphics card in it. Not an expensive card, just a low to middle range one.

I started smack on 8pm mate, to the second. You were off my leaderboard, so I couldn't tell how far away you were. The way you blew me away early on, I figured you were long gone though.
