Wow, I was surprised how much power I still had left after my outdoor session this afternoon.
Bill, I got you this time, but I'm sure it's on borrowed time (if I know you right)^_^

Very well done Lars  You gave me a good ass kicking :cycle:, which to be honest, I need now and again.:B)
In the end I just couldn't stay with you any longer. I must have been up near 100% the whole time although I haven't looked yet.

You sure did, and I think it deserves to stick. We were both perhaps a bit tired from recent rides but that one made me try harder than usual. Looks like your training is working well.

Well done guys, some impressive power figures there! :notworthy:

How was the course?

Geoff

Nice course and could be a good one to move up a level for some. Took me 30 mins and 3 sec. Lars has the wrong shirt colour I think at 111% effort. No steep bits but loads of pain in this particular ride.

The new air con in my loft is quite effective

I've got a portable one that is better at producing noise than cold air, and it needs venting out of an open window, so any cold air just escapes through the window.

Can I ask what model are you using, and how do you vent it?

Thanks,

Geoff

Geoff, its a Climatix KY-25 portable 9000 BTU. I just got it second hand on ebay for £125. Not very portable though as you can't just carry it around. It doesn't seem to work as well as a hotel one but with the blower pointing in my general direction it makes the ride doable at a decent pace. Fortunately my loft has an opening in it for air to circulate so I just use that for the vent hose. I plan to seal it a bit better with some silicon round the edges. Without the venting it would just blow hot air out into the room.

Very quiet here. I know Kipster is busy campaigning because in our newspaper I saw a picture of a guy holding a sign that read I'm voting for u Kip.

Spring has been put on hold here in Denmark, so Bkool season not finished for me yet.
Lately my real weight has been pretty stable at 2 kgs lighter than my Bkool profile, so think I will adjust my weight and try to build some confident before race season starts next week, and find some suitable +30 minutes sessions.

So I guess we can announce Bill as the winner of the CycleChat Chain Gang April 2015 series. :notworthy:
It was a close race...just 2 seconds between us.

Thanks Lars. We had some excellent races. However, I think we still have one race left. I have a mega ride on Saturday so won't be able to put in any effort on Thursday. If anyone wants to partake though, I'll be happy to start it off then cruise to the end without too much effort. If you're in it Lars You'll be taking the Chain Gang win, if not it's someone else's chance to take the stage win. Kip?

The big question is what next for the Chain Gag and the Mountain Goats? Does anyone want to continue? Or just continue with one of them? Mountain Goats has stagnated completely I think so if anyone's up for it we could continue the Chain Gang and perhaps restart the goats later in the year when turbo season starts again.
What does everyone think?

I'm not going to be able to make the last race. Ill be working in Hoonah Alaska.(I think Cook and Vancouver brought all of the vowels from Wales when they wrote out the native names for the villages here) But I planned on putting in a run before Thursday. I don't think Rayvon, Paul, Bob, Monte and Rick should ride at all until we start back again in the fall. They should relax and enjoy lots of good food and drink.
