Nice one Randy.

Looks like it'll be quiet til the dark evenings arrive again.

I am still not well:sad: haven't been on the bike for 2 weeks. Very frustrating and it will be a few more days at least. Mind you, just in time for a change in the weather.
Was looking for some interval training but Bkool doesn't really seem set up for it yet.
Well done Bill.

I've been out of action due to daughter having major surgery, but hopefully mum & daughter will be coming home this week and if so I will be up for this Thursday chain gang.

Hi .

Just signed up to the forum today, after seeing your group, which I need to join on bkool. I got the bkool pro today and my first road bike. Not sure if this is right place to ask but.
My laptop runs it ok, but need more power to get the nice looking graphics. Can anyone recommend a laptop, I don't think I need a full blown gaming laptop. Just one that I can run it at max settings in 3d and video mode. I've seen it run, On a 2k gaming pic and it looks stunning.

Thank you

Well, I'm back again with yet another problem.

Having had my BKool Trainer Pro changed I've finally got back to using it after more than a fortnight to find there has been an update in the trainer software. Fine....installed it on both my main PC and my laptop. I now start using it, in 3D mode, and after about 500 metres of cycling all the 3D rendering disappears. All I have left is the road surrounded by pale blue everywhere else. And this is the same on both the PC and laptop. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Jeffro and Adolph

Sorry Jeffro - cant help you with Computer specs. Mines a basic desktop with a budget graphics card and it runs everything on medium settings perfectly. Baseunit cost less than £300 I think. Wouldnt reckon it wouldnt reckon it would take much more to run high settings. (Could be completely wrong though!)

Adolph - never had that problem though I'm waiting on them to replace my Bkool pro as the cadence is all over the place and the fan rubs even with the side cover off. Never had any major graphics issues to be fair.

UPDATE: :addict: This will be of interest to both of you - I tried my computer on high settings there now just to see and first time it rendered MOST of the scenery BUT a patch was missing so I tried another course and all I got was the road on a light blue background. Video footage on high was very pixelated and not rendering correctly. Looks like you need to downgrade your graphics settings Adolph!

Pc has got a AMD A6-3670 2.7 Ghz, 4Gb RAM with a Nvidia 9400GT graphics card.

The PC is not a problem. 3.4 Ghz i5, 4 Ghz AMD Radeon card and 8 Gb Ram. And everything ran perfectly smoothly on the previous version of the software on both this and the laptop at max 3D settings.

Having tried one or two other courses, however, I note that the problem only seems to happen on user created ones. Those from BKool seem to be okay. And turning the graphic settings down on those affected seems to make no difference.

Looks like yet another ticket to BKool.

Did you have to send your pro back to them or do they send one out for a swap so your never without one? My cadence seems all over the place, I am new to this cycling, so could be just me. And a rattle from it when at high speed . Is that when the fan catches, or would it be at all speeds. Thanks

Have you tried uncheking "Full screen"?

I rode that last Thursday before work and felt super slow. You're really burning it up. 5 minutes faster than me. I rode this week's ride before I left town and was shooting for under an hour. I'm curious to see how you do on this one.

Geoff,

It's good to hear you're doing OK. I think Rick probably wants you to add that ride but maybe add an extra 10 minutes.
