Hey Geoff,
That's really sad news. We all know how much you enjoyed tearing up those slopes. But great to hear it doesn't mean an end to cycling. Bill makes a good point. There are few things more enjoyable than long nicely paced rides, enjoying the view and the air. Perhaps your cycling future lies in Audax,s or similar?
Don't desert us though Geoff. Someone needs to keep an eye on Bill^_^

@Randy

Well done on the change of shirt! :okay:
Thanks. Monte made active 2 right after I made active 1.

Bill,
Is your new avatar a goat with a veterinary cone on its head?

Yes Randy, and a bandaged up hind leg. It's a good reflection on how I feel on my bike at the moment although bandaged up front hoofs would be better. I managed to put in 89% effort yesterday on the Goat League ride chasing after Darryn so things improving slowly. Bkool still demoted me, although probably more due to lack of activity.

We've lined up something special for this weeks event - the opportunity to ride with Pep Tatché, an elite user of Bkool!

This Thursday, thanks to Bkool Multi-player, you now have the chance to race against him! This event will take place on Thursday 28th of May at 18.00 (CEST).

The route is called "Colle dell'Agnello-Casteldelfino" and will be started by Pep at 18:00 (CEST), followed by a 10 minute warm-up session allowing other users to join the event. Once the 10 minute warm-up is over, the race will begin!

That looks like it is the descent of this weeks mountain goat climb.
It is just like in all the sports hero movies. The star is hurt through super human effort and both the 2nd and 3rd guys are out injured, so it's up to one of the scrub players to win one for the team with his hidden talent. In this case I've been preparing for this my whole life by piling on the extra pounds that is a gravity assist. Sadly, tragically I have to work, so someone else will have to represent the Goat/ Cycle chat team.

How can they justify that? Your session was still at 89%. That should be more than enough for a ride of that distance to maintain your current fitness level?

Well the ride before that was 84% so I think it's due to lack of activity so they assume, perhaps quite rightly that I've lost some fitness. I tried to lock onto your ghost without drafting and managed well for perhaps the first half but then I just couldn't stay with you. I fitted tri bars to help take the weight off my hands but was still struggling to make the power. Your ghost did make a very good job of defending as I tried to come back at you a couple of times, but you always upped your power again so I couldn't catch you.

On colle dell'Agnello 1 hour and 32 minutes up but just 18 Minutes 8 seconds down. Gravity assisted 43 mph average.
So they've picked a downhill course which will last 18 minutes for the event??? (I hadn't checked what the course was like)

Not very good at this are they?

......and now another event for next week (info from Bkool-English Facebook page)

After taking on a 24 hour Bkool challenge and finishing with some epic results, we're extremely happy to announce that on Tuesday 2nd of June, we've organised a special event where you can ride with Marc Molla inside the Bkool Simulator!

Marc is known for taking on difficult challenges, only two weeks ago he cycled with an average speed of over 32km/h for 24 hours and burnt over 11,000 calories!

The route will be started by Marc at 18:00 (CEST), followed by a 10 minute warm-up session allowing other users to join the event. Once the 10 minute warm-up is over, the race will begin!

If you don't find the route at first, don't panic! Press the refresh button located bottom left of your screen on the simulator. Should you have any additional questions, please contact us via our Facebook page.

See you all Tuesday afternoon!!!
