Very interesting though that you've discovered this 'flaw'. Does that mean we can now all be top of the league rankings if we so desired?

Yes, check this out. This is how "Time doping" looks when applied evenly:

Same effort but much faster.
Could be that J.MONTESINOS is a victim of negative "Time doping"?

Can I just check , does the garmin gsc- 10 cadence/speed sensor , only work with the cadence and not the mph/kph on bkool pro.

It will read the mph if the magnet is on the back wheel, as it will get the speed of rotation of the back wheel and so long as you have set the wheel circumference it can work out how "fast" you should be going.

However, the Bkool software will ignore it, as it only picks up the cadence.

If you don't need the speed part, the Garmin magnet-less cadence sensor is lovely, it just fixes around your crank with it's elastic strap and can be moved to another bike in seconds. They do a speed one as well, and a bundle with both, but speed is not needed on the bkool and on the road it can be got from GPS if you are not too bothered.

£35 from evans ... http://www.evanscycles.com/products/garmin/cadence-sensor-ec073707

£60 from Wiggle if you want both ... http://www.wiggle.co.uk/garmin-speed-cadence-sensor/
Edit: £45 at the moment on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JM6DKUA

Another alternative, which I use on my Wahoo KICKR bike, is the Wahoo RPM which transmits both bluetooth and ANT+ so it works with the iphone/iPad apps as well as Bkool. Not as nice as the Garmin though, as it needs to be cable tied or stuck to the crank.

Personally, I love the magnet less garmin ones, as they just work, are a doddle to fit and move and don't go wrong when the magnet shifts away from the sensor or vice-versa.

Thanks for that info. Think I'll go for the cadence only one then. As this bike will stay on the bkool all the time..
Think bkool should learn a lesson from this, and include a sensor in any
Future bkool, instead of the built in one.

Was reading on the zwift site about people cheating with electric bikes, wonder how many get used on bkool, as some of the times I see Are incredible.

My brother has an electric Trek Powerfly, I have thought of borrowing it and trying it on Bkool, at the moment I need the help!

Tried contacting bkool again, still no response. Not the best way to run a company in my opinion. Order cancelled,
Wiggle to the rescue.

Well, bkool finally responded to my emails. they replied to one this morning and then replied to the other a couple of hours later. I don't know why they couldn't read them both and then just reply to them both in one email.
Anyway, looks like the trainer from bkool should land today and the one from wiggle will land tomorrow, lol.
I know I'm impatient and as a result is partly my fault, but if bkool had better communication, this could've been avoided.
I suppose bkool have come good in the end, but they could do with reading these comments on here and learning from them.
Now which do I send back hmmmmmm!!!! ;)

Well, here I am again with some BKool analyzing (Me on vacation in poor weather stuck at home is a dangerous thing :-).
I've been trying to figure out what could cause the abnormalities, which seems to happend quite often. My theory was that the system was vulnerable to (unintentional) "Time doping", because it was based on pc time in stead of pc ticks (pc ticks are number of ms since system was startet). I made a few test and voila! I was able to make a ride with both higher total speed and watts than the average speed and watt, just by setting the clock just before ending the session.
Many pc's are configured to update time via a time server, and every time that happens during a session, there's a great risk of screwing up the session.

There are other abnormalities to investigate, e.g. how J.MONTESINOS could be almost a minute behind Pep in "Percorso Monguzzo - Lurago d'Erba" in such a short event, even though he put out more watts. I'm out of vacation though, so I'll leave that to BKool
That is one explanation. Another is that I'm just a faster rider than you on Percorso Monguzzo.

Looks like its gonna be the wiggle trainer that I actually keep. Decision made for me by Bkool/FedEx.
Tracked Delivery stated it would be here today by 18:00.
So I stayed in all day to receive the delivery ( and I hate waiting for deliveries)

17:50 : tacked delivery, still states item to be delivered today by 18:00.
18:10 : no package delivered and status changed to unknown delivery date.

Contacted FedEx who said it would be delivered on Monday now, however, I won't be able to receive the delivery from them for atleast 2 weeks now because of work commitments.
FedEx even tried to blame the delay on the channel tunnel problems today, even tho the package was in the UK last night...tut tut.
So I've informed FedEx to return item to Bkool.

So far I've enjoyed:
Bkool - poor customer services.
FedEx - Poor customer service
Wiggle - top rate customer service.

Lets hope Wiggle do deliver my trainer tomorrow.

Randy, some people are just sore about you kicking some serious 4ss the other day . I was impressed. I think I stayed ahead of you for about 2 seconds before you flew past and disappeared over the horizon.
I saw your new time. It is almost as fast as my wormhole ride. Very impressive. Lars' advanced computer knowledge is no match for bad science fiction physics.

Don't worry Randy. I gave up catching you long time ago. I name you the king of the Como provins :notworthy:.
I challenged a more suitable victim today (fmpando) but failed

I also challenged fmpando today and failed. He's a bit too fast although he did let me keep up for the first half.
And if there's much of a hill too go up don't even think about challenging MONTESINOS.
