Once you're in a league it's easier to locate and challenge your rivals and race against their ghosts. Of course live racing on a league ride is the most exciting.[/QUOTE]

Another newbie question how do u do the live races in the bkool summer league i see them in schedule but no time for live race

Bkool have a facebook page, "Bkool events" they announce the live ride times on there. Sometimes you may see them in the live section when you load the sim software up, This will be the ride but loaded up by someone in the league, quite often other league riders join and it can turn into a race to help push you. Hope that makes sense.....

Good question Rob. In the case of the bkool summer cup league, quite a few of the stages are advertised as a live race on https://www.facebook.com/BKOOL.english usually on a Tuesday night at 5 or 6pm. Someone usually posts it up here and you can just join the race from the Live tab and use filters if you're having trouble finding it.

I also challenged fmpando today and failed. He's a bit too fast although he did let me keep up for the first half.
And if there's much of a hill too go up don't even think about challenging MONTESINOS.
Tried the same challenge today, and only managed to stay with him for 12 min  I had to average 380 watts to do that.

Well, I've almost lost total confidence in bkool.

When I cancelled the order that i made with them, they also cancelled my premium subscription.
On a separate wiggle order for a different trainer, I paid £1.00 along with a coupon to get a few months of premium use.
Well bkool have only gone and cancelled my premium subscription for this order too.
So I now have a brand new bkool trainer with no premium subscription.

Thanks Bkool. Top service once again

Lets hope they reply to my email and sort this out swiftly and that this is the last problem I'll have.
And I was hoping to get on the trainer today too.

Once you're up and running it should be fine. The hassle is always in getting started with them. By the sounds of tit you have the trainer working well which is the hard part! I'm sure they'll respond tomorrow to sort it. If you're on facebook give them a prompt on the bkool-English site to push them on a bit if you hear nothing by midday tomorrow

Will do Rick, Cheers

Having been off the bike for over 4 weeks (indulgent food and drink fuelled honeymoon) I foolishly decided to enter the first of the Bkool summer cup events last night and in another turn of stupidity I chose @RickB as a ghost to chase. I was playing catch-up from the get-go and ended up finishing some 3 mins behind him in 34min 24secs, in a whole world of pain! Just for good measure I managed to downgrade my physical condition in the process too!

I’ll give it another go once my fitness and strength have returned in a few weeks, certainly an eye opener as to how dramatically and quickly fitness and form can disappear.

I am lucky enough to be in Bourg St Maurice on a family holiday. Rode to Petit St Bernard yesterday evening and have saved to bkool here;

It's a nice ride, gradient between 4 and 7% so almost flat for you mountain goats. It was a spur of the moment ride to escape the confines of an apartment and family and I foolishly only took 1 bottle and a banana and bonked a bit near the top. That might also be the mid afternoon beer too:blush: anyway, not an epic ride up but a lovely ride through beautiful scenery with quite spectacular views as the sun set. It was an epic ride down in the dark but not to be repeated!

Ride London completed safe & sound (only just) witnessed some terrible riding and there were lots of incidents but I managed it in exactly 5 hours... great route suited me and if I had anything to add reckon I could of pushed harder but I don't ride that mileage so I didn't know if I would run out of energy. With the feed & convenient stops my official time was 5hrs 25mins...

It's the second time I've done the Ride London and to be honest I don't think I'll do it again too dangerous in my opinion! Far too many people racing in a event that's not a race ! I saw many people by the roadside being treated by paramedics after crashes and felt like I'd escaped with my life! We'll done ,I did it in 5.05 lovely weather and atmosphere but spoiled by the wannabe racers ! Unfortunately you'll never stop it .
