Tried the same challenge today, and only managed to stay with him for 12 min  I had to average 380 watts to do that.
LB I think I was able to stay with him using a lot less power than that. These days ever since you suggested it was possible to freewheel on the down slopes I have been doing that and my times have improved drastically. Anywhere where there's a slight negative gradient you can spin it up and have a rest while pulling away from the competition. Not easy but it seems effective.

bkool summer league do I just select the ride from Scheduled tab click on see, then set it up select ghost/bots etc then Schedule. then once ive completed the ride how do I see to check it counted towards the league cos in history it just show the ride but nothing to suggest its part of the league
and is it only me that finds it harder than on the actual road

Can anyone comment on the noise level of their trainer.
Mine is very quiet when going uphill,
but really quite noisy when going downhill.
Is there anything I can do to quieten it down on the downhill sections?

And still keep up a good speed if you do it right. Power on and off at the right time to achieve maximum cadence before freewheeling for a bit can be a lot faster than steady power down hill as LB pointed out a few pages ago.

They are very loud at 40 or 50 mph. It's all to do with the roller speed so up hill is quiet.

Rob. It should day the league name under your home page activity list. If it doesn't then it looks like it may not have registered as a league run. I only do league runs by challenging other previous runs from the league lists or join the live races.

If you started from the scheduled list I'm not sure why it may not have been taken as a league run. Maybe the fact you changed settings and rescheduled it again?

In the activity list it shows the ride but no mention of the summer league so its probably not counted as a league ride
So how would i schedule a league ride

If you go to the league page where it lists all the rides - click on the ride you are looking to do. There's a button there to schedule it (can't remember what it looks like though! ) or on the same page it'll list everyone's times for that stage. You can click the wee button beside each persons attempt to challenge their time (so you can race their ghost )

when I go to the league page to list all the ride the only symbols I see r copy or add to favourites
I can challenge an individual rider on the riders list on the race they done with the same riders. not able to change any of it

Could have been the copy symbol I was thinking of - EDIT - just tested it - Yep, thats the button that adds it to your scheduled runs.

Yes, when you challenge a rider you cant change any settings, but it will definitely count towards the league.
