Same dejavu for me too. Exact same place as you but he took more like 2 minutes out of me. I was about 10 seconds behind him at the start of that hill. What you're suggesting would be worth a try and would at least prove one way or another. To me it feels like he is somehow able to carry momentum up the hill without it slowing him down as much as it does to us.Just challenged Skovsgaard in "Truleigh Hill" and it was a dose of dejavu. I was in front of him before the steepest section of the climb, but he just flew past me and ended up gained a minute on me at the top of the climb. I'm wondering if perhaps the problem is on mine side. I really feel like I'm pushing +400 watts on the steep sections, but what I see on the screen is considerable less. What if I have micro slippage because I'm not as heavy as Skovsgaard. I think I will try to put some extra weight on the bike next time, and see if I get more watts on the steep sections.
